Mina woke up at the crack of dawn, the sky turning vivid shades of crimson. Although she had woken up early and was still tired, she felt peaceful and cheery. After getting dressed, she stepped out into the hallway, careful not to make any sound and avoiding the creaky floor boards. It appeared that she was the only one awake. As she was about to head downstairs, she heard the faint clunk of something hitting the ground in the room across from her. This was followed by a comical "Oww! ". Smiling, as she knew who was in the other room, Mina walked back down the hallway and stepped through the doorway leading to the source of the sound. There, sprawled on the ground, was Jimin, half awake and moaning in pain. Mina chuckled. "You okay?" she asked. Jimin blushed, bashfully and nodded.

"I fell off" he replied sheepishly, crawling back onto the bed. Mina yawned, rubbing at her eyes. Jimin, noticing this, patted the spot beside him, indicating that Mina should lay down as well. She complied, and he put an arm around her shoulder, causing Mina to blush, a jolt of lightning running down her spine. After she relaxed into his embrace, Mina pulled the blanket over the two of them. It was this action that reminded her of last night's events.

"Thank you for the blanket Jimin-ie, it was very sweet of you." she said, softly. Jimin blushed and rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. He subconsciously puller her closer to him.

"You don't have to thank me." Jimin replied. "It was a small thank-you gift to you."

"Why, what for?" asked Mina, looking curiously up at him. Jimin removed his hand from his neck and laced them with Mina's.

"For being... you. I've only known you for less than a year, but now I can't imagine a life without you." Jimin confessed, only realizing how corny it sounded after the words left his mouth. Mina didn't seem to mind as she stared into his eyes, taken aback.

"Well, I can't imagine it either." Mina whispered. They settled into comfortable silence, Mina snuggling into his shoulder while Jimin absent-mindedly played with her hair. Now, Jimin was completely sure that this was not how "just friends" act. However, all serenity within that peaceful moment was shattered and lost, as loud footsteps ran up and down the hallway. Someone - guess who - clanged metal pots loudly with a wooden spoon, running and yelling "Wake up! Breakfast!", the sound resonating off the walls. Reluctantly, they crawled out of bed and walked downstairs.

Jimin and Mina had mixed feelings about the day ahead of them. Their schedules read "Amusement Park/ Zoo", as the main activities for today. Both of them absolutely adored cute animals, and for Mina, she was especially looking forward to seeing the penguins. But, they also shared a common dislike for roller coasters. They became absolutely terrified while riding them. After breakfast, they got in a van and headed to the zoo, anticipation buzzing in the air around them. When they got there, everyone chatted excitedly about what animals they wanted to see. About five seconds after stepping into the zoo gates, Mina squealed "Let's go see the penguins!" Jimin chuckled at her eagerness. They half ran, half walked, to the Antarctic Exhibition. After all, who was he to refuse her request. Let's just say they spent almost all of their time there, and Jimin was totally fine with that. He smiled at how happy Mina was. He realized that, as idols, they never had the time to do fun things like this, or be with the ones you love. He chose to cherish the moments that they had now, joining in on Mina's enthusiasm.

"Hello Mina's cousins!" Jimin teased, as he waved to the penguins. "You're just as adorable as Mina is! It must run in the family." Mina flushed and laughed at his comment. After what seemed like a million years, they finally left the zoo for the Amusement Park. By that time, the sun was already below the horizon, the sky becoming a beautiful shade of lavender. Of course, the first thing their friends made them do when they arrived, was ride the biggest roller coaster in the park; The Tidal Wave.

"Yeah! Let's do this!" Jeongyeon screamed. Almost everyone else nodded and laughed in agreement.

"Jimin-ah." Mina whispered. "I'm a little scared."

Jimin gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I'll protect you."

"Yeah, right." exclaimed Mina. "You're scared too!" They both chuckled. As they sat down in their seats and buckled up, they laced their fingers together.

"Hey, Mina!" said Jimin.

"Yeah?" Mina replied.

"Wanna have a competition? We'll see who can go the longest without screaming." Jimin explained.

"You're on!" Mina said.

The staff member stood at the control panel. "3, 2, 1! Go!"

Both Jimin and Mina squeezed their eyes shut, gripping each other's hands tightly. They twisted and turned, as the roller coaster started to gain momentum on it's first drop. They remained completely silent, until the first loop-the-loop, when Mina let out a cute little squeal.

"Aha!" exclaimed Jimin. "I won!"

It was just then, when the roller coaster decided to do it's biggest drop yet. "AHHHHHHHH!" Jimin screamed, at approximately the same pitch as a five year-old girl. This caused Mina to burst into fits of laughter, despite her fear. As they stepped off, shaky and windswept, Mina giggled.

"I think I  won that." Mina bragged.

"Actually, you screamed first." Jimin said.

"No, that was only a tiny little scream. Yours was way louder." bickered Mina.

"It was not!" Jimin protested.

With perfect timing, Jungkook walked over. "What was that Jimin?" Jungkook laughed. "You screamed like a little kid back there! I thought my eardrums died!"

Mina smirked at Jimin, as he pouted. "Fine, maybe you won." he reluctantly agreed, then joined in on their laughter.

"Guys let's go on that one now!" yelled Taehyung, who was pointing at another horrifyingly gargantuan rollercoaster.

"No thanks guys, Mina and I are skipping out this time." Jimin answered.

"Sure, have fun! Jungkook said.

Jimin took Mina's hand and led her to a bench overlooking the giant fountain in the centre of the park, glistening under the moonlight. The amusement park put on a display of fireworks every night, and it was something they didn't want to miss. "Stay here Minari," said Jimin. "I'll be back"

After a few minutes, Jimin returned with a large cone of cotton candy for them to share. "Cotton Candy!" Mina exclaimed. "Thank you!" Jimin sat back down beside her and placed an arm around her shoulders. "You're really kind, Jimin." Mina whispered, then to his surprise, placed a soft kiss on his cheek. At that moment, fireworks shot up into the air, splashing the night sky with vivid colours. They both turned to watch.

Jimin glanced back at Mina after a while, becoming mesmerized by the lights reflecting in her glistening eyes, staring up at the fireworks in wonder. Her cheeks were sprinkled with pink to match his own. Jimin was ecstatic. He would forever remember this magical moment, where he finally got a kiss from Mina. Choosing to act before he could regret it, he leaned down and slowly pressed his own lips to her cheek. She gasped and looked up at him. They smiled at one another, eyes locked together. As the finale began to commence, they looked back up at the sky together.

Little did they know, their friends had just returned and found them. As the group walked around the corner behind Jimin and Mina, they saw the two watching the finale. "Awwwww!" They all cooed. "It's so adorable!" squealed Sana. Everyone agreed.

"Our Jimin-ie has grown up!" Jin said, smiling and wiping a fake tear from his eyes. As if on cue, the finale finally ended with a bang, literally, causing Jimin and Mina to stand up. As they looked around, they spotted everyone else, who had pretended not to see the two, and walked towards them.

"Ready to go home?" RM asked.

"Yeah." Mina replied, smiling.

As Jimin laced their hands together one last time before heading to bed, he knew that he would be replaying the kiss in his head over and over. Both of them knew the effect that they had on each other, and heading back to their rooms, they knew they wouldn't have it any other way.
