A Happy Accident ~ Part 9

           Everyone woke up early in the morning, ready to swim.

"Ugh, I want to sleep" said Suga, always a fan of doing nothing. 

"You can't sleep now, I'm too handsome for anyone to fall asleep in my presence." Jin said, proudly. He continued frying strips of bacon over the stove, waiting for a sarcastic reply from Suga. When it never came, he turned around. Suga had already fallen asleep. Jungkook snickered, having witnessed it all. 

"Hey guys, the filming crew arrived!" Momo yelled. "We'd better eat breakfast fast!"

"Okay, okay" Jin assured her. "Almost done!"

         After a hearty breakfast, everyone separated to change into their bathing suits. They agreed to meet outside after they finished.

      The large swimming pool at the back of the house was surrounded by filming equipment as the two groups gathered in the water, around the edge. They had decided to have a chicken fight while eating breakfast. The girls were hoisted up on the boys' shoulders, waiting for the host's signal. Jeongyeon and Jihyo sat out, volunteering to be the referees. Once the signal came, a fierce battle broke out among fourteen highly competitive individuals. Jimin felt extremely happy, either from the game, or from his close contact with Mina. Maybe both. They managed to survive through most of the fight, but were downed eventually, after Jimin lost his balance. 

     The rest of the day was free-time at the pool. Most of them decided to lay down in the shade beside the water and relax. However, some stayed in the pool to swim around. Mina was floating peacefully on her back, looking up at the bright blue sky. Suddenly, she felt strong arms hoist her up around his shoulders. "Hold your breath!" He yelled as Mina shrieked in surprise. Mina barely had enough time to register the warning in her head and gulp some air, before she was dunked into the water. As she eventually came up, spluttering, she saw what had happened. While she was distracted, Jimin took the opportunity to sneak up on her. He lifted her high up in the air, then promptly threw her into the water. Now, she could hear the intense chuckling of the others, who were doubled up in laughter at his prank. She turned to his giddy face. 

"You!"  she yelled, before splashing water at him. He splashed back. Before they knew it, a full on war had broken out and everyone joined in on the fun. After what seemed like hours, Mina stepped out of the pool, shivering. Pretty much everyone else had already finished and were inside taking a shower. The camera crew was long gone by now.

     Mina tried to stop her teeth from chattering as she sat down in a pool chair. She looked up as she felt someone wrap a fluffy towel around her shaking body. It was Jimin, as always, who had seen how cold she was and gave her his towel. He then sat beside her and hugged her tightly, transferring his warmth to her petite body. 

"I had fun today" Jimin said, his voice just a notch above a whisper. "I'm glad I spent lots of time with you."

"Same." Mina said, her voice hushed to match his tone. Both of them knew just how true their words were. Mina wrapped the towel around Jimin, so that they were both covered. They shared a smile, then turned to watch the setting sun.
