From Within The Rubble ~ Part 11

            Mina hummed contently as she sat in a van with the other members of TWICE. The overall atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, as today was the day Jimin would be officially discharged from the hospital. With the intent of surprising him, the members of TWICE and BTS were planning to visit the hospital early in the morning to give him some company while he packed his belongings and gifts. The van made its way across the snow-covered roads towards the center of the city. In an attempt to entertain herself, their manager switched on the radio, adding more background noise amongst the chatter of nine girls. From where she sat, Mina could hear every detail of the stories told by the sleep-inducing voices of news reporters. 

            Sighing out of boredom, Mina looked out the window and observed the constant onslaught of dainty snowflakes in the early morning sky. It was like driving through a bright, white wall. Like the walls of the hospital wing...

           Almost immediately, her thoughts drifted to the events that occurred almost a week ago, when Jimin had finally regained consciousness after so long. Mina could remember the giddy feeling of a large, heavy weight being lifted off her shoulders as soon as his cheerful, warm smile came into her line of sight. She could finally confirm that he was indeed safe and alive. She'd felt so much joy and happiness in that moment, it was as if she'd taken her first and only breath of fresh air in weeks. And then, he was shamelessly staring right at her. Mina remembered feeling a little awkward and embarrassed as soon as she noticed that she was the subject of his heavy gaze. She tried to ignore it, but as soon as their eyes met once more, she was transfixed and helpless. He was so close to her, and she... enjoyed it. Mina blushed at the thought of where they were headed and what they would've done without interruptions. 

           Admittedly, she was slightly scared. What if they were rushing everything? What if it had only happened because they were trapped in the atmosphere of that moment? Yet, she couldn't help but giggle at the thought of all their happy memories together. However, her moment of reflection was abruptly interrupted by an excitable Tzuyu.

"What are you thinking about?" she asked.

           Mina flushed instantaneously. "Um, nothing! I-I mean, the weather's nice?" she spluttered out before she could think of something sensible to say.

           Tzuyu bore a sly smile on her face. It only took Mina a small glance at Tzuyu's eyes and expression to understand her real implications. Oh... She definitely knows I was thinking about him.

"Admit it, you were thinking about someone too, Tzuyu-ah." Jeongyeon slyly pointed out. 

            Tzuyu opened her mouth to let out a small, snarky quip, but was interrupted by the avid voice of the radio station news reporter.

            Today, idol group BTS' Park Jimin will be discharged from the local hospital following the devastating event that occured at the Music Bank Station building over a month ago. Park Jimin and Myoui Mina of TWICE were both trapped deep beneath the crumbling remains of the building after one end of the Music Bank Station collapsed in on itself. It is reported that Park Jimin risked his own well-being to push Myoui Mina to safety, before he was completely buried underneath solid concrete. Myoui Mina suffered minor injuries, but Park Jimin was rendered comatose for several weeks.

             At this point all the members of TWICE were listening. It was hard to forget the feeling of constant worry and regret that consumed them all when they had seemingly lost one of their own.

             However, it seems as though their hardships will come to an end quite soon, as Park Jimin has healed substantially and will be free to leave the hospital today. On another note, reporters have constantly spotted the members of both BTS and TWICE frequently entering and leaving the hospital building together to visit Park Jimin over these past few weeks. It seems as though this incident has sparked a close friendship between the two groups due to their members' involvement. Their actions seem friendly, but it has caused netizens to wonder if dating speculations are true. After all, they seem to be very close and-
