"No, no, nonono..." Jimin mumbled as he pulled on a random shirt, not even caring about what he wore. "We're so late!" He pulled on his shoes, leaving them completely unlaced as he dashed out the door. They were supposed to be ready at 6:00 a.m.

It was currently 7:30.

Jumping into the car, Jimin sighed and slumped into his seat. With him being the last one out, the van was ready to leave. His hair was a complete mess and his eyes still drooped with fatigue. The others didn't look much better. The seven of them were a puddle of tangled limbs with hair unbrushed and faces unwashed. It was almost impossible to think that the very same people would be at the pinnacle of fashion and dignity on the red carpet just hours later.

But for now, they were content to just be on the road. The previous night, a sudden blackout ruined thier alarms without them knowing. And thus, they found themselves in this situation the morning after. There was no room for their regular routine. No breakfast. No picking out clothes. No shooing Yeontan and Minmin back inside after the two pets try to follow them outside. No fighting over the shotgun seat. Just plain, sheer panic.

They let the rocking of their van lull them to sleep, each person finding the nearest surface to take a nap on. They definitely would have stayed that way for the entire ride if it wasn't for a loud crash.

Jimin jerked upwards as his eyes shot open. His head collided painfully with Taehyung's. "Ow..." They chorused, rubbing at their heads and eyes. A loud rustling came from underneath the seat. Looking down at their feet, they narrowed their eyes in suspicion.

One by one, a paw popped into view. Then another. Then a furry head with its little pink tongue sticking out.

"Yeontan?" Jungkook exclaimed. "What's he doing here?"

"He must have tried to sneak in when we were all rushing to leave the house." RM concluded.

Taehyung moaned in frustration, slapping a hand to his forehand. "How could I have forgotten to keep him from escaping?" He picked Yeontan up and set him in his lap. "Oh well, I guess you're coming with us today."

"Wait..." Jimin froze. "If Yeontan got out, does that mean Minmin did too?"

Everyone froze.

"We have to go back!" he cried.

"It's too late!" RM tried to console everyone. "There's no turning back now. I'm sure she's fine." he said, uneasily. "Just sleep it off for now, we're almost there."

The car ride seemed way too short as the seven men were roughly shaken awake and led through the halls of the building towards their waiting room. They walked like zombies, barely keeping their eyes open.

"Jimin-ie?" A timid voice called out. Electricity jolted through Jimin's body as his fatigued head shot up. He knew that voice

Standing just off to his right was Mina, accompanied by the rest of TWICE. His eyes shot up to the sign on the doorway. Their rooms were next to each other. In all the rush, Jimin had forgotten to consider the possibility that TWICE would attend an award show as well. Of course they were coming. He was an idiot.

Jimin was suddenly very aware of the fact that this was probably the worst he's ever looked in the entirety of his career. It was as though he'd just climbed out of bed. Because he just did. And Mina was here to see it all. He could see all six of his friends beginning to blush under their gaze.

"Rough morning?" Nayeon commented. They all laughed nervously.

"You have no idea." Taehyung confirmed. "Whoa!" A small, furry cannonball shot through his legs, sending him toppling towards the ground. Yeontan sped towards his goal; an unsuspecting-

"Sana watch out!"

Too late.

By the time she so much had a glimpse of the dog, she too, was on the floor. Yeontan made every effort to reunite with his new favourite person. Sana giggled and tried to push the excited puppy away from her face. "Tan-ie! I missed you too!"

"Hey, what about me?" A very disgruntled Taehyung called out from his own spot on the floor.

"Missed you too, Taehyung-ie!" Sana replied obliviously. Taehyung turned several shades of red in a matter of seconds, eliciting teasing laughs from the others. It was obvious that he was whipped for her, but Sana still seemed to only consider him as a friend. Eventually, they tore Yeontan off of Sana and bid one another goodbye.

Taehyung struggled to keep a hold on Yeontan, who was whimpering and struggling like there was no tomorrow. "Yeah, yeah. I know you want to see her again. I do too. But will you just calm down for a second?"  Each word was punctuated by a grunt as he grappled with the tiny dog. They entered the room to get ready, slamming the door shut behind them. Taehyung could finally let go of his puppy, who scrambled to the door and pawed at the slit of light beneath it.

Jimin chuckled at Taehyung's complaints as he sat down to get his hair done. Looking at himself in the mirror for the first time that day, Jimin groaned in devastation. He looked horrible. No one wants to look like they'd been run over by a truck in front of their crush. Wait... Crush? Did he just- ...was she? Sometimes he just couldn't believe what was going on.

Why did he want to impress her? What was he doing? Everyone knew that a relationship with another idol could never bode well. He saw it in the news all the time. They would get caught for sure... That is, if it even happened. And how could someone as wonderful as Mina love him?

He shook his head. This was no time for an identity crisis! They were late enough already. At lightning speed, the staff pampered the group to be presented to the public. Jimin couldn't believe they'd been able to fix the mess that was their earlier state. He concluded that they needed a pay raise. In the midst of all the commotion, Yeontan had long stopped pawing at the door and instead lay sleeping on a sofa in the corner of the room.

"On the red carpet in 5 minutes!" someone shouted. Everyone exchanged panicked expressions.

"Guys, out the door!" RM ordered. One of their managers reached for the doorknob to let them out. Taehyung, however, noticed Yeontan tense up in the corner of his eye. Wait...doesn't that mean-

"No! Don't!" he shouted.

Too late. Again.

As soon as the door opened, Yeontan shot out.

This cannot be good.
