A Happy Accident ~ Part 3

Mina is online ...

Mina: Hello, Sunbaenim. I just came back from the hospital. I am fine, the doctor only found minor bruising, and they're almost fully healed by now.

Jimin is online ...

Jimin: Mina!

Jimin: I'm glad to hear you're better :)

Jimin: But, was the bruising because of me? Was I not gentle enough?

Mina: No, it was from the camera equipment. You did not hurt me.

Jimin: Good, I was worried.

Jimin: This is somewhat random, but do you like penguins?

Mina: Yes. How did you know?

Jimin: Your profile picture is very cute :D

Mina: I actually made that penguin myself at a fan-sign event.

Jimin: Really?

Mina: Yeah

Jimin: What are you doing right now? Are you feeling any pain?

Mina: Nothing much, just resting. And no, I'm okay now. Thanks for asking, Sunbae-nim.

Jimin: "Oppa" would be more confortable.

Mina: ?

Jimin: I have no one else to talk to right now, and sunbae-nim makes me feel a little bit awkward.

Mina: Well... Are you sure? You are my sunbae. I haven't known you very long at all.

Jimin: Yes, I'm sure... It would be great to make a new friend.

Mina: Alright then...

           From that point forward, Jimin and Mina began contacted each other often, becoming more and more comfortable. It was easy to find solace in someone else with the same problems and similar schedules. They only ever conversed online, texting each other almost everyday. However, they had no idea what was in store for the both of them.

~ TWICE's Dorm, 3 months later ~

"Wake up! Wake up!" yelled Jihyo, shaking the younger members awake. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, and herself were already awake. "We have to meet PD-nim for our briefing." JYP himself had contacted them late at night, asking them to meet him in the morning, simply saying he had another activity for them to participate in.

"Okay, okay, we're awake!" grumbled Chaeyoung, who was still half-asleep.

Within half an hour, they were out of the dorm and entering the studio. They quickly greeted JYP and sat down.

"I have made an agreement with Mnet on a new variety show. You will be spending one week on Jeju island and participating in competitive games."

"Jeju Island!" squealed Sana, excited. Everyone joined her in celebration.

"But, you will be accompanied by another idol group. Bangtan Sonyeondan will be with you for the whole trip. You will share a resort home on the island."

"What? You approved of this?" asked Jungyeon.

"Yes, we believe it will be a hit, considering you two are arguably the most popular k-pop groups in the industry. This is the easiest way to profit." he replied. "I suggest you start packing, as we need this to happen as soon as possible. We need enough time to prepare for your next comeback. I'm hoping you guys will be able to leave tomorrow."

     After another long day of promotions, the nine TWICE members all went back to their dorm, chatting among themselves about the trip. This was the most absurd thing that had ever happened to them. It was absolutely ridiculous. Who's bad idea was this trip? All they could see was disaster as die-hard fans attacked them for being with their biases. Mina, however, went straight to her room and grabbed her phone.

Mina is online ...

Mina: Jimin-ah!

Mina: Oppa?

Did you hear the news?

Jimin is online ...

Jimin: Yeah.

Jimin: We're going to Jeju together! :D

Jimin: I can see my Minari!

Mina: Our companies and groups don't know of our friendship...

Jimin: Well, they were going to find out eventually.

Mina: I guess so...

Jimin: Have you packed yet? I've finished.

Mina: Huh?

Mina: Oh no, I forgot all about that! D:

Jimin: Forgetful little penguin :)

Mina: Bye, I have to pack :D

Jimin: Bye, sleep well Mina!

Mina: See you at the airport tomorrow Jimin-ie!

Both of them finally went to sleep that day, anticipation buzzing through their minds.
