Dear reader,
I welcome you to another world I created.
The Last Moon-Keeper is inspired by Filipino myths mixed with a sprinkle of different Asian cultures (Japanese and Chinese). So don't be confused because this is what I imagine when the three of them were weaved together as one.
It is an adventure- action fantasy with a dash of romance. It's quite possibly my favorite story that I've written so far, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did writing it. This story is me deviating from the other fantasy stories I've written before.
Still, before proceeding, there are a few disclaimers to address. This is a long journey and if you're not a fan of complex narrative threads, lengthy books or slow burns, then this might not be the book for you. This is also not the book to skim, or you may find yourself lost in a sea of information, which is, at times, purposefully misleading. Though the story contains alternating historical timelines, due to the nature of the topic at hand, this does not attempt to be a piece of authentic historical fiction.
The story can get quite dark and emotional at times, so I urge you to check the content warnings carefully before proceeding. I hope you enjoy it and please do not spoil the story for others or you will be muted.
Content Warnings: blood (gore), blood play, death, derogatory terms, discrimination, drugs, graphic torture, graphic violence, graphic sexual situations, murder, self-harm, genocide, weapons, PTSD, suicide and extreme angst.
I hope I can touch your imagination once more after a very long time and you can venture with me again just like before.
Thank you very much.
