A/N: I just realized this is officially the longest scomiche book I've written. Most of my books end around chapter 36. And, this fic wasn't even supposed to be this long lol.

"We got in another fight, Mitch and I. We never argued this much in Texas," Scott complains as he sits with Kirstie on her bed. She had just gotten home from a night out with friends.

Kirstie has been feeling lonely ever since she and Jeremy broke up a few months ago so she's rarely home and spends most of her time hanging out with some new friends that she made in L.A. Scott is happy for her though. He's glad that she gets to enjoy her time in L.A.

"In Texas the only thing you had to worry about was school," Kirstie says. "Remember what I told you? Mitch gets pretty snappy whenever he's stressed. He doesn't mean anything he says."

"That doesn't make it hurt any less. He always takes a jab at me being in a wheelchair when we argue. The other week he yelled at me for not helping around the house and today it was me not having a job,"

"I promise he doesn't really mean it. I know it hurts but try not to take it to heart, okay? He's been working non-stop on his EP the past few months. I mean... they have him at the studio almost every day,"

"I feel like we haven't had a day together since the night I proposed. Five months ago," Scott says.

"Well, like I said earlier... he's just been really busy. This singing thing has meant so much to him ever since he lost his voice. He always wanted to do show choir and stage plays but he never could. Now that he can speak again he's going to do everything he can to perfect his singing voice,"

Scott looks over when there's a knock at the door and takes a deep breath when Mitch opens the door.

"Are you guys talking about me?" Mitch asks, walking into the room.

"We're just talking about your EP, and how excited we are to hear it," Kirstie grins. "What's up?"

Mitch eyes her suspiciously before sighing. "Pizza is here. You guys wanna have a movie night tonight?"

"Oh, that sounds fun!" Kirstie nods. "You go get the food ready and I'll help Scott, okay?"

"Okay," Mitch says before turning around and walking out of the bedroom again.

Scott groans and buries his face in his hands. "I can't take this! Things are getting awkward between us, and I feel like I can't talk to him like I used to be able to. I knew this was going to happen," he complains.

"No, stop... don't say that. Just have a little faith and patience for the future. Okay? Let's get dinner,"

"Can you put my wheelchair by the door?"

Kirstie blinks a few times but doesn't question him, and does as he'd ask her to do. She grabs his wheelchair and takes it over to the doorway.

Scott scoots across the bed and holds onto the nightstand as he shakily stands up from the bed.

Kirstie gasps as she watches and smiles proudly. She knows that Scott's been working hard with a physical therapist and she heard that he's been making a lot of progress but she hadn't seen any of the progress yet. She's been so excited about seeing all the progress he's made.

"Scotty! You're doing so well!" Kirstin grins, her eyes never leaving Scott. She watches as he uses the wall for balance as he walks around the room with no help. It takes him a couple minutes before he finally makes it to Kirstie and his wheelchair but he's exhausted. He's not used to walking like this.

"I'm tired," Scott breathes before sitting down in his wheelchair. "I hate walking..."

"Oh stop, you did a good job. Just a little more practice and you'll be walking in no time," Kirstie grins, and then she pushes Scott to the living room as he's too tired to wheel himself. She sees that Mitch has already got plates and drinks out, and is now looking for a movie to watch.

Mitch looks over and raises his eyebrows when he sees the two. "What took you so long?"

"Sorry. That was my fault. I needed to check my makeup," Kirstie lies quickly.

Scott looks up at Kirstie before looking over at Mitch. "I told her that she doesn't need makeup. She's beautiful already without makeup but she never listens to me," he says.

"Oh, stop," Kirstie rolls her eyes and then laughs.

"So, what movie do you guys want to watch?" Mitch asks. "I can't find anything on Netflix."

"Jurassic Park!" Scott exclaims. "Please, Mitchy? I haven't seen it in so long."

"You just watched it-"

"No, I haven't seen it in a long time. Jurassic World! Please?" Scott begs.

Mitch laughs and shakes his head at Scott's excitement. "You are obsessed with that movie," he says.

"Hey, you have no room to talk Mr. I Have Spongebob On Every Time I'm At Home," Scott giggles and sticks his tongue out at Mitch before wheeling himself over to the living room.

"Hey! Don't come for me like that," Mitch places a hand on his hip.

Scott looks up at Mitch and smiles innocently. "Kiss?" He asks.

Mitch rolls his eyes playfully and then he leans down to kiss Scott a few times.

Kirstie smiles as she watches the two. She knows that things have been a little rough between them since they moved to L.A, with Mitch being busy in the studio and everything. So, it's nice to see them getting along like this. She knows Mitch doesn't mean any harm to Scott, and she hopes that they'll be able to work things out with each other. They deserve a happy ending after everything they went through.

"You're lucky I love you. Need help getting out?" Mitch asks.

"No. I'm a pro at this now, bitch," Scott says before getting out of his wheelchair and onto the couch without any problem. He looks up and Mitch and giggles when he sees the look on his face.

"Okay, how are you so good at that?" Mitch asks.

"Years of practice! Can I have some pizza now? I'm starving," Scott says.

Mitch laughs. "Sure, sweetheart," he says before grabbing one of the plates. "How many pieces?"

"Two please?" Scott says.

"Aw. I've missed this. We haven't had a movie night in so long," Kirstie says excitedly.

"I know. We should make this a regular thing," Mitch grins. "I miss hanging out with my favorite people."

Scott looks over at Mitch and smiles. Maybe everything will be okay.
