Scott sighs as he holds onto the mail, slowly walking into the living room.

"Fuck," Scott mumbles when he feels the pain in his legs.

It's been five years since Scott had gotten married to Mitch. A lot has happened in five years.

Mitch had released two full length albums since then and has become quite famous in the music industry. Everybody loved him and he had millions of fans all around the world. He's constantly busy doing interviews and live performances and keeping up on social media.

While Scott is extremely proud of him, he can't help but miss Mitch. He's gone right now on a world tour that's sold out as well. Scott wishes Mitch would come home more so it wouldn't be as lonely. But, Mitch loves traveling and performing for his fans. He's never been more confident than he has now.

Of course, Mitch texts Scott every day and calls him whenever he can which Scott appreciates.

"Junk, junk. More junk," Scott mumbles as he walks over and sits down on the couch. "Shit-" Scott groans and rubs his legs, and then sighs. Scott had learned how to walk quite well and he enjoyed not being in a wheelchair but of course he still felt pain in his legs and sometimes it got too much and he did have to use his wheelchair. Though he tried to avoid that by taking his pain medication.

Scott gasps excitedly when he sees that one of the letters in his hands is from the adoption place. He and Mitch had talked about adopting a child the past two years. Scott had been feeling more confident about being able to take care of himself and a child. They went to an adoption center a few months ago when Mitch had been home and they had picked out a little boy that they fell in love with. Scott had been waiting to hear if they had been accepted about being able to official adopt the boy.

Scott scans through the letter and his eyes widen when he realizes...

They had been accepted.

Finally. Finally, they had been accepted and they were going to have a child together!

Scott's hand flies up to his mouth and covers it as his eyes begin to water up. "Oh my God..." He reaches over and grabs his phone from the table and calls Mitch as fast as his fingers could allow him.

"Hello?"

Scott blinks a few times when someone who isn't Mitch answers his phone. A female's voice.

"I... uh, you're not Mitch?" Scott says, unsure of what else to say.

"Oh, right. No, I'm not. I'm Esther, his tour manager,"

"Okay... Mitch has told me about you. Anyways, I-I need to talk to Mitch immediately," Scott says.

"Mitch doesn't want to talk to anyone right now. He's trying to save his voice for tonight's show,"

"No, tell him it's Scott. I have something really important to tell him," Scott says.

"Can you call back later?" Esther asks, ignoring what Scott had said.

"No! I need to talk to him now!" Scott yells, getting frustrated. "I want to talk to my husband!"

"I'm sorry. He can't talk right now," Esther says before hanging up on Scott.

"Fuck!" Scott yells before throwing his phone across the room. He sniffs and buries his face in his arm. It's been like this the past few weeks. Scott would call Mitch randomly and Mitch would tell him that he's too busy to talk. Normally Scott could be able to deal with it but lately, it's been really upsetting him that Mitch doesn't want to talk to him. Scott knows he's busy but they're married. Scott is his husband.
