Mitch finally released his EP. He had a big release party to celebrate it. A lot of his friends and family came to support him. Scott had been there but he didn't get to see Mitch as much as he hoped to but he knew that a lot of people wanted to see Mitch so he didn't take it personally, besides... he got to celebrate with Mitch when they got home that night which was even better.

Mitch had to do a little bit of press to promote his new EP. He went on a few TV shows and Scott absolutely loved seeing Mitch on TV and being so confident. Mitch is so happy just being able to talk about his music and perform for thousands, if not, millions. And he's even mentioned Scott a few times. Mitch posts a lot of their relationship on social media and the fans had started "shipping" them. Scott doesn't mind though. He thinks it's hilarious.

Scott doesn't understand technology or social media at all so Mitch always has to show them these things but he enjoys it whenever Mitch does show him.

Mitch isn't supposed to be going on tour any time soon so they finally started wedding planning.

After three months of stressful wedding planning, they finally had everything set for the wedding.

It was going to be quite a small wedding, they had decided. Having a big wedding gave them anxiety so they decided to only invite 50 people of some of their close friends and family.

This meant that Scott really had to step it up if he wanted to surprise Mitch at their wedding. He was so close to being able to walk on his own again. He's been working nonstop for months and it's been so difficult for him not to be able to tell Mitch what he's been doing.

"I can't believe we're getting married in a week from today," Scott mumbles one evening when he's cuddled up next to Mitch on the couch. "Like, we're actually going to be married. Husbands."

Mitch laughs. "I know. It's been a long time coming, huh?"

"I mean... if you would have asked Scott in high if he was getting married to one of the most beautiful boys on this Earth he would have laughed in your face and told you that you were crazy," Scott says. "Although, Scott in high school was very angry at the world at that time."

"And he had every right to be," Mitch says. "You're not angry at the world anymore, are you?"

"Of course I'll always be angry at the world for taking my family away from me but... not as much because the world gave me you," Scott says as he looks up at Mitch.

Mitch smiles and leans down to kiss Scott. "I love when you get sappy,"

"This is what happens after wedding planning," Scott groans before burying his face in Mitch's chest.

"Hey, I'm glad we got it done. I know you were getting impatient..."

"It's not that I was getting impatient. I was just excited. I'm excited to spend the rest of my life with you, we'll be together forever. One day we'll get a house and a dog and we'll adopt a lot of babies..."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa... babies?" Mitch's eyes widen. "You want babies?"

"Well, I mean... in the future. Definitely not right now. I can hardly take care of myself," Scott says.

Mitch sighs in relief. "Oh, thank God. You can't do that to me. I almost had a heart attack!"

Scott giggles. "So, Aunt Claire will be here in a few days..."

"Oh, she's coming early?" Mitch asks, smiling.

"Mhm. She said she misses me so she wants to come earlier and check out the apartment and stuff. I've really missed her. It's really weird not having her around all the time. I always got annoyed with her when she would baby me but now I kind of miss it," Scott says.

"It's understandable. She was the only one you had for awhile after the accident. You went from seeing her every single day to not seeing her every day. I imagine that was a hard transition for you. Do you talk to her often?" Mitch asks, gently running his fingers through Scott's hair.

"Mhm. We text a lot and I try to call her every week. If I get bored when you or Kirstie isn't home then I'll call her and talk to her for awhile. She has a new boyfriend. She sounds happy," Scott tells him.

"That's sweet. I'm glad she's able to come to the wedding," Mitch smiles.

"Me too. She's going to help me get ready and help me down the aisle since um, my dad can't..."

"I know, baby. This must be so hard for you," Mitch frowns as he holds Scott close.

"I don't want to be sad. Can we watch a movie?" Scott asks, sniffing.

"Of course we can. What movie do you want to watch? And don't you dare say Jurassic Park," Mitch warns playfully before reaching over to grab the remote.

Scott whines. "Why not? Don't you love that movie?" He asks.

"Yes but not that much. I've seen it so many times that I can practically recite the whole movie. Come on, love. Why don't we try finding something new to watch?" Mitch suggests.

Scott huffs and crosses his arms against his chest. "Fine. Hater," he mumbles.

"I am not a hater!" Mitch laughs and shakes his head.

"A Jurassic Park hater," Scott adds. "If we can't watch Jurassic Park then we can't watch Spongebob."

"Now that's just rude," Mitch mumbles before he starts going through some movies on Netflix.
