Aragorn glanced over at you as you walked alongside him with your horse. He was contemplating on if he should say anything or just remain quiet before you spoke up.
"You know . . . I wish I was home, every single day on this gods awful journey. I wish I could wake up and be greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread from the village market . . . I wish I could smell my mother making breakfast and spreading jam over bread." you looked up at him. He looked at you for a moment, frowning a bit. "But then I realized I wouldn't have met you, Aragorn," you said.
The man looked away from you, silent for the longest time before he spoke up. "I am glad you decided to leave your home. I am glad you realized if you hadn't . . . I wouldn't have met you."
