It was quite obvious that the two of you liked each other - just, the obviousness hadn't been too obvious to either of you. Ori thought you only seen him as a friend; you were convinced that Ori could have cared less if you liked him or not. However, the love you two had for each other only seemed to grow with each passing day.
Nori and Dori thought the two of you were utterly ridiculous. The brothers tried to get Ori to admit his feelings towards you but each time he tried, Thorin decided to throw a big, new plan at the group. Ori wasn't so sure he could keep this up - it was obvious as well, to the brothers.
Ori stopped talking as much to you. It was better to just ignore rather than try and get your attention, right? At least, that's what the poor dwarf thought. If only he would have just asked - then he would know that in all truth that is good, you loved him back.
