If Thranduil would have known you would have done this to him, he would have said no and pushed you away.

If Thranduil would have known you would make him feel like his first wife had, he would have pushed you away.

If Thranduil would have known you would look after him and take care of him like you have, maybe he would have said yes.

But now, Thranduil stood in front of the human who captured his heart - you.  He held your hands in his as he recited Man's vows.  "I do," he softly said, not daring to look away from you.

"And do you, Y/n, take Thranduil, king of the Woodland Realm, to be your lawfully wedded husband?" your minister asked with a soft smile.

"I do," you replied.

The rings were placed on both of your fingers and the two of you moved close as the words "You may now kiss the bride" were recited.  Thranduil's lips deeply pressed against yours.  The human who captured his heart was now his wife.  He would make your life the best a human would ever have; even knowing that in a hundred years, you wouldn't be there.
