Thranduil glanced towards his son before he looked down at the rather short elven woman.  "What do you need?" he asked, rather rudely.  This rather short elven woman was you.  Your eyes grew wide before you looked up at the king.

"Your highness," you softly spoke with a sickly sweet voice.  Thranduil's eyes widened slightly at the sound of it.  It sounded similar to Legolas' mothers voice.  "I have traveled far and wide to find you," you softly said, bowing your head to them.  "My sister once lived here, long ago.  She gave birth to a child before she passed away . . . she had sent a letter to me, asking me to come here.  I," you looked over your shoulder, "have gotten lost and beaten many a time but here I am.  My sister said her husband was the king.  If I am right, that would be you, your highness . . ."

Thranduil stared at you for a moment before he nodded.  He glanced at a few guards and a maid.   "Get her a room ready . . . and do not return until it is finished," he said.  They immediately nodded and left; you looked up at the king and his son.  "What is your name, sister of my wife?" he softly asked.

"Y/n," you simply said.  Thranduil took in a deep breath and he nodded.

"If you are lying, I will find out."

"I would never lie about the wellbeing of my sister.  She wanted me to be here to take over in case anything ever happened to her.  I just didn't realize that my sister meant it was sooner instead of later."
