You were the cutest Hobbit that Bilbo had ever had the opportunity to lay eyes on. So when Gandalf introduced you as part of the company of dwarves, Bilbo was almost compelled to join. Why was such a cute little thing going to be apart of something that he could possibly die from?
So by the time morning rolled around and Bilbo woke to an empty house and empty pantry, the first thing he noticed was the contract sitting there. And then the little note that was written by you.
