Frodo grinned widely at you and you only knew he had something up his sleeve.
"I was talking to Sam earlier and he said that you enjoy jokes, Y/n."
"Yes, that is true," you nodded slightly. "Why?"
"Could I tell you a few?" he smiled softly. You almost immediately nodded and the hobbit sat down in front of you. You prepared yourself for what was to come.
"What is the difference between mashed potatoes and pea soup?" Frodo asked. You thought for a moment before you shook your head. You didn't know. "Any one can mash potatoes but no one can pea soup!"
You stared at him for a split second before you let out a soft giggle. "Do you have any more, Frodo?" you asked.
"I thought you would never ask!" Frodo was grinning from ear to ear.
