Chapter 16

"What happened honey? Where's Matt and Harry?"

"He's not coming mom" I mumbled as I went up to my room.

"Kathy, what happened?"

"I really don't want to talk about it Gill" I groaned.

I got up and went downstairs to get some tea.

"Kat"

I groaned "can we just not to talk about Harry?! You know what I'm going out"

I got up and opened the front door and stopped "Haz?" I felt like my heart stopped when I saw him. I looked at Matt who was holding his dad's hand. Harry had a bag over his shoulder.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Can we talk?"

"Sure, come on"

I closed the door as we got in my car and I took us to a mall so Matt can play in the little play thing they have for kids while Harry and I talked.

"You came all this way just to talk?" I asked him.

"Yeah"

"So um what did you want to talk about?" I sat back.

"I met Matt's mom when I was about 19. We dated for about few months, we both met each other's families and everything. When she got pregnant we went away so no one would find out, we paid the doctor to tell no one. She didn't even look at Matt, she didn't even want to hold him. I didn't want Matt to go into foster care or anything so I stood up and said I will take care of him and raise him. We haven't spoke since, it was Kendall Jenner"

I leaned over the table and grabbed his hand "I'm so sorry Harry"

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, you deserved to know"

I kissed his hand "I'm sorry about me yelling at you" I laughed.

"It's fine babe, I just missed you"

"I missed you" I smiled "should we go back to the house?"

"Yeah let's go"

We got up "Matt come on" Harry called Matt.

We walked into my house and Harry placed his bag by the stairs before we went to introduce the family to Matt.

"Mom, dad, Gill this is Matt, Harry's son"

Harry brought his bag up to my room "are you guys tired?" I sat on my bed as Matt climbed up and laid down.

I smiled at Matt "I'm fine but I think he's tired"

I laid down next to him "he's so beautiful Haz"

"So are you, let's let him rest"

We left Matt to take a nap as we went downstairs.

"How was your flight Harry?" My Dad asked.

"It was good, Matt slept the whole way"

"It is correct you raised him all on your own?" My mother then asked him.

"That's right Mandy"

"He seems like a sweet boy, you did a good job son"

"Thank you, I still don't know how I managed to do it but I did have my family and friends help me"

"And the mother?" Gill asked.

"She's focusing on her career, I haven't seen her since Matt was born"

"And she wants nothing to do with Matt?"

"No but it's okay. I agreed to raise him on my own. That little boy is my world"

I smiled as I grabbed Harry's hand "how is Kathy with him?" My mom asked.

"Kat is actually great with him, he adores her"

"Well I adore him" I smiled.

"I should go check up on him" Harry left.

"Do you need any help cooking dad?"

"No I got it sweetie"

I nodded as I drank my water bottle. Harry came downstairs with Matt in his arms. He was still clearly sleepy but waking up.

"Hi buddy" I smiled at him.

"Hi Kat" he rubbed his eyes.

My dad got some water for Harry and Matt.

"Are you hungry Matt?" Harry asked him.

Matt nodded and I got up to get him a little snack until dinner was ready. When dinner was ready, we all sat around the dining table.

"So babe, I was thinking of taking Matty out to the mall?"

"Just the two of you?"

"Yeah" I smiled "is that alright?"

"Yeah just keep an eye on him"

"Of course babe" I kissed his cheek as I grabbed Matt and got him ready.

"Okay Matt, so we're going to get daddy a gift for Christmas okay?"

"Okay!"

"But you can't tell him what we got him okay?"

"You got it!"

I laughed as I held his hand as we walked through the mall to find the perfect gift for Harry. But Harry had everything so I thought of getting something heartfelt. I got him a gift from me, from Matt then from Matt and I.

"You and your son are so cute" I picked up Matt "oh um he's actually my boyfriend's son but thank you"

"Your welcome"

We got back in the car and Matt feel asleep when we got home. I put the bags in Gill's room as we went into my room. Harry took Matt and changed him as I changed into my pajamas.

"You're never going to guess what happened?" I whispered "some lady said that Matt and I are so cute, she thought she was my son"

"Really?"

"Yeah" I smiled as I took a sip of water.

We both laid down with Matt between us "I love you Kat"

I smiled "I love you too Haz"
