Chapter 66

Gill came with me to drive the kids back to the house to get dressed. I changed my clothes.

"I can't believe this is happening to me" I tell her.

"Sweetie, Don't start! You have to drive the kids to school"

I nodded and drove them to school "I should be okay Gill" I drove her to work and drove back home. I sat on the couch alone with no one else in the house. I was crying as I heard the front door open. I looked up and it was Harry, I didn't move because he looked so miserable.

"Katherine" he sighed as he walked over to me and sat on the coffee table in front of me.

"Please don't start" I shook my head.

"No we need to talk!" He tells me "when was the last time we honestly talked"

"Fine! You want to talk?!" I asked him "I had a sex with an 24 year old" I tell him with my arms crossed.

"Really?"

"Yeah, He was amazing! How does that make you feel?"

"It makes me feel like I want to kill him"

"Now you know how I feel" I tell him "I don't like this" I tell him "I hate this so much"

"I hate this too"

"But you cheated! You have been cheating on me Harry! I am still in love with you" I cried "I look at you and I ask myself how did I get so lucky to have a man like this" Harry eyes began to water "I see you with the kids and I think god he's so amazing, god I love him so much" I tell him "and now I have so much hatred for you but I also love you so much that I can't even think about leaving you"

"So don't!"

"I think I need to, this is too toxic now and I need to think of the kids" I tell him "think of the kids Harry, we need to set an example for them" I sighed.

"Kathy I want you to know, I will never love another woman the way I love you"

He grabs my hand "I will never love anyone as much as I love you Haz"

He leaned in and kissed my cheek, he then kissed my lips. I got up and got on top of him. God I missed him so much. He picked me up as I was kissing his jaw and neck. We fell onto the bed, I missed his body up against mine so badly.

"That was probably a bad idea" I tell him.

"I don't think it was" he smiled as he kissed me.

I got up and began to get dressed "Kathy, please don't"

"Harry what the fuck are we doing?" I asked him.

"We are two people who are madly in love with each other but I fucked up"

"Yeah exactly!"

"Was I better than that other guy?" He asked me.

"Was I better than that other woman?" I asked him.

"A million times" he tells me.

I sighed as I put my shoes on "Katherine, I don't know what I will do if you leave me" he tells me as my back was towards him "not being able to wake up to you, not being able to come home to you"

"Yeah while you were with her" I look at him "then you come home to me, it sickens me Harry"

"It sickens me you were with someone else!"

"I did it because I was so hurt! I wanted to get back at you and now I just regret it!" I yelled at him "it hurts me that I hurt you"

"It hurts me that I hurt you!" He yelled.

I sighed "we have to figure out what we're going to do" I tell him.

"Well I know I want to be with you"

I sighed "I don't think we should be together"

"Don't you want us to be together?"

"Honestly, don't think so" I told "I love you but now I don't think I'm in love with you"

"When did you stop being in love with me?"

"The minute I found out you cheated" I told him truthfully "It's over Harry" I sighed as I walked out.

For once, I feel okay. I feel like it was the right thing to do, it is the right thing to do. I drove to pick up the kids then back to Gill's.

"Are you sure you don't mind us staying?" I asked.

"Sweetie?! No it's fine. Are you okay?" She asked me worried.

"Yes I will be sis, it feels like the right thing to do" I tell her.

I spoke to Gill, Ethan and Matt about the next steps and they were all aboard and willing to help.
