Chapter 40

"Ellie, come on" I held my hand out for her to grab as we walked down the hallway.

I knocked on the door "come in" I opened the door and Ellie ran to Harry.

"Don't forget to do the photo booth" I tell the boys "you guys are going to do the interview then towards the end of the show, you'll perform"

"Alright thanks Kathy" Liam smiled at me.

"Of course" I smiled "Haz, is it alright if Ellie stays with you while I work?"

"No, go work. We got her love"

I smiled "Ellie, you be good for Uncle Haz okay?" I smiled at her as I left.

"Kathy, come here please" I walked into his office.

"Yeah James"

"You have been my assistant for about two years or so"

"Yes" I nodded.

"You have been a great assistant Katherine"

"Are you firing me James?"

"Oh no! But I actually have someone that wants you to work for them as their executive assistant which means you'll be doing everything with them. You'll travel with them, go to awards shows with them and all that"

"Wow really?" I asked him.

"Yeah, what do you think?"

I sighed "I would have to talk to Harry about it, I like working for you because I'm closer to Harry and my family"

"That's understandable Kat"

"Could I have a few days to think about it?"

"Of course"

I got up and went to the boy's dressing room "Harry" he glanced up at me "can I please talk to you outside, do you guys mind just watching Ellie?"

"We got her Kat"

Harry got up and I grabbed his hand and we went into the spare dressing room.

"What's going on Kathy?" He asked me.

"Someone wants me to work for them as their executive assistant"

"Wow Kathy that's amazing"

"But I wouldn't be in LA Haz, I would be traveling with them and basically be with them"

"But this could be really good for you love"

"I know but I would be away from you and my family"

He held my hands "we can make it work Kathy"

"Are you sure babe?"

"Yes if this is what you want" he hugged me and kissed my forehead "I love you"

"I love you too, should I tell James then?"

"Yeah babe go tell him"

I nodded and left to go back to James's office "I'll take it James"

"Really? That's great! I'll call them now"

"Who is it? By the way"

"Oh it's Camila Cabello"

"Oh I love her! That's great!"

"She's coming next week so you two can talk"

"Sounds great"

I went back to work, I took on the side as the guys went out for their interview.

"So Harry, you're engaged?!"

"Yes, I announced it on your show"

"When's the wedding?" James asked Harry.

"Not sure since I have a busy schedule and Kat will be busy soon so we just have to work it out"

Harry and I dropped off Ellie then went to pick up Matt and went home.

"Babe we should start planning the wedding" I tell Harry as I look at some weddings plans online.

"Alright" he handed me a little notepad and a pen.

I wrote down flowers then underline it. Below I wrote down pink roses. Harry placed my dinner by the laptop.

"Let work on this while you eat okay?"

"Okay"

He took the laptop and the notepad as I ate "babe why don't I handle where the wedding's going to be and all that"

"Really?"

"Yeah, just work on the flowers, colors, food and we'll work on invites"

"You're really going to pick the venue and everything?"

"Yup, I want to surprise you" he kissed my cheek as he grabbed my plate and I went back to work.

"You know I hate surprises babe" I glared at him.

"I know you do" he smiled.

"What's going on?" Matt sat down at the dining table.

"Your dad and I are planning the wedding" I smiled at him "and your dad knows I hate surprises but he is going to plan the venue and not tell me where it's going to be"

"Can you tell me dad?" Matt got up and walked over to Harry.

"I hate you both!"

Matt and Harry laughed. I grabbed my stuff and went to the bedroom to continue planning the wedding as I called my mom for help.
