Chapter 29

"Yes hi! My sister Gill just had a baby?!" I asked the nurse as she told me the room number.

I ran as fast as I can with flowers and balloons in my hands. I came up to the room and walked in. I let go of the balloons and put the flowers down as I walked over to Gill with tears in my eyes.

"Hi" I laughed as I hugged her "can I hold my niece?"

"Of course, meet Auntie Kat, Ellie"

"Ellie?" I asked Gill and she nodded as she handed Ellie.

I cried "she's so beautiful, Hi Ellie. I love you so much and I'm going to be the best auntie you ever had" I laughed.

"Jackson, please take a picture of me holding my beautiful niece"

"I got you babe"

I looked back at my niece "Gill I might not be good with kids but god if you ever need me to babysit, I'm there"

Gill laughed "you say that now"

"No sis, I mean it" I smiled "and I have Jack who is perfect with kids"

I handed Ellie back to Gill "is mom and dad coming?" I asked.

"Yeah, they're going to help us with the baby"

"That's great and Ethan?"

"He's getting me some food" she laughed.

My phone rang and I walked out of the room to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Um Hey Kathy"

"Harry?!"

"Yeah I heard about Gill and wanted to wish her good luck"

"Oh okay I'll tell her"

"How are you feeling being an aunt?"

"Amazing" I laughed "she's so beautiful and so tiny, it's so crazy!"

He laughed "I know, I felt the same way about Matt"

"Ugh I can imagine" I smiled "how are you?" I asked him.

"Good good, might be in another movie, working on some more music"

"Wow you sound busy and Matt?"

"He's good, loving school"

"He's what like 9 now right?"

"Yup"

"Wow he's gotten so big"

"Yeah, he still misses you"

"Aww I miss him too"

"Would it be weird if we grab coffee together and catch up?"

"I don't think so no, I should get back to Gill but just text me"

"I will, enjoy being with your niece"

I hung up and went back in. I ended going to the gift shop with Jackson.

"I just want to buy everything in here" I laughed.

"You can spend your whole life spoiling Ellie Kat"

I sighed "I know"

I bought a panda and a little outfit that said "my auntie loves me". We went back and Ellie was sleeping.

"We'll come back tomorrow" I whispered to my sister as I grabbed my things.

"Hello?" I picked up my phone.

"Sweetie?! Are you with Gill?"

"I was yes mom, Ellie's sleeping and I'm heading home so Gill can rest"

She sighed "okay, I'll see you soon baby"

"I'll see you soon"

As soon as I got home, I cuddled up to Jackson and fell asleep. I woke up to Jack in the kitchen making dinner.

"Babe, Harry texted you" he handed me my phone "who's Harry?" He asked.

"Just a friend" I lied.

I looked at my phone to see Harry texting me about meeting next week and I texted back that it works. I got up and stretched. I made my way over to Jackson and wrapped my arms around him.

"You're coming right?"

"To your graduation?! Of course I am babe"

I smiled, we moved over to the dining table to eat dinner. After we had dinner, Jackson went home as I cleaned up and took a bath. After my bath, I put an oversized t-shirt on and fell asleep.
