Chapter 49

"I'm not ready to go back to the kids and work" I sighed "and you leaving me"

Harry kissed my hand "I know babe, I hate that I have to leave you, leave you guys"

I kissed his shoulder "it's not going to be that bad okay?" He kissed my hand again "it'll go by quickly"

"I hope so"

Once we landed, we took a town car to Anne's place to see the kids.

"Dad!" Matt ran to Harry as I went to pick up Anastasia.

"Hi princess" I hugged her tight "oh I missed you so much"

I handed Ana to Harry as Matt hugged me "oh I missed you so much buddy" I kissed forehead "ready to go back home?"

"Yeah"

We stayed at Anne's then went home. The kids were exhausted, Matt went to bed and I put Ana in her crib.

I sighed "ugh babe!"

"I know me too" he kissed my forehead as I rested my head on his chest.

"Okay back to normal" I sighed.

I grabbed Ana's things and put it in the car.

"Matt! We need to go!"

"I'm coming!!" He yelled.

I sighed as I had Anastasia on my hip as Matt ran out of his room. We headed to the car.

"Where's dad?"

"Rehearsals" I tell Matt "can you hook her in?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure, rehearsals for tour?"

"Yeah, he talked to you about it?"

"Yeah" I pulled out of the driveway "he's leaving in three months, so I'm going to need your help with Ana if you don't mind"

"Yeah, anything I could to help" I parked the car.

"I love you kid, you know that? Now go have a good day at school" I kissed his cheek, then he kissed Ana before leaving.

I then drove to work. I was so stressed out already and it's just the first day back.

"Hey Kathy, welcome back. Is this Anastasia?!" Camila smiled at Ana then asked to hold her.

"You okay?" Cam asked me.

"A bit stressed out already" I sighed "but what do you need?"

"I'll give you the day off Kat, it's okay"

"Oh Camila, no you don't need to do that"

"No it's fine"

"Can we talk as friends?" I asked her as we sat down with Ana on her lap.

"Yeah sure, what's up?"

"Harry's leaving in three months for tour and I guess I'm just really anxious about having to deal with two kids on my own"

"Well if you ever need to bring them to work, I mean you can"

"Thanks" I sighed "I'll just sit here with Ana but if you need me, I'm here"

"Alright" she handed Anastasia to me and went back to work.

"Okay so Katherine, we need to talk" Camila came back and sat down next to me.

She explained to me that she's going to be touring in a few weeks and I need to be on tour with her. So I told her, I'll talk to Harry about it. I sighed as I picked up Matt from school and went home.

"You okay mom?" I put Ana in her play bin.

"I just got some news from Camila and I don't know how to feel about it"

"Well what it is?"

"Nothing you need to worry about right now okay? I'll tell you after your father and I talk"

He nodded and went to do homework, I started to cook.

"Hey babe, I got your voicemail, what's up?" Harry kissed my cheek, grabbed a water bottle then sat down.

"Maybe we shouldn't talk about it right now"

"No what is it?" He asked me.

I sighed and turned to him leaning on the countertop "Camila is going on tour and I kind of have to go" I tell him "I don't need to but Camila wants to go and it'll be more money and I'll be away for a few months" I sighed.

"But you technically have to go though right?"

"Yeah" I nodded "but I told her, I'll talk to you since we just got back from our honeymoon, you're about to go on tour and the kids" I sighed "what are we going to do?" I asked him.

"I think you need to go Kat"

"Really?"

"Yes, I'll be an amazing work experience, you get to travel basically for free. I think it'll be good for you"

"But what about the kids?" I asked him "I can have my parents come stay here with them" I offered.

"Is it okay if I call them and ask?"

"No, they're your parents too" I smiled as Harry walked away to call while I checked on the food.

"You're mom they can do it"

"Really?"

"Yup! I told them they can stay here and use our cars and all that"

"Wow so this is happening?!" I laughed.

"Yeah babe, it's going to be tough though"

"Ugh I know" I wrapped my arms around his waist "I hate being away from you"

"Me too beautiful" he kissed me.

We sat down and before we started eating. We told Matt the news, he didn't really take it well but we explained to him that we both needed to do this and he'll be in good hands with my parents. I hated leaving him and Ana.
