Chapter 33

It was spring of 2019. I've been working as James's assistant for about two years now. I ended up moving in with Gill to help out with Ellie who is now two years old and she's just my world.

"Kathy, are you sure your boss doesn't mind having Ellie at work?"

"Are you kidding? James loves Ellie! Go, she'll be fine!"

"Ellie! Come on Auntie Kat has to go to work"

"Coming" she yelled as she slowly walked downstairs.

I grabbed her stuff as she said goodbye to Gill. Then I got her in my car and I drove to the lot. I grabbed my stuff along with Ellie's stuff and grabbed her little hand as we said hello to everyone.

"Hello Ellie!" James smiled as he picked her up "how's your day going Kathy?"

"It's going okay" I smiled "do you need anything?"

"I'm good right now, I'll let you know"

"Okay"

Ellie and I went to a spare dressing room which I've been using to take breaks and to keep Ellie busy. James texted me he needed me, so I picked up Ellie and went to James room.

"Yes?"

"We have four guest coming"

"Okay" I put Ellie down and began to write down what James was telling me "I got it"

I picked up Ellie and went back to the dressing room "Hey Kathy, I got her"

I sighed "thank you so much William" I smiled and went to the dressing room and set it up with the artist favorite things. I went back to James "okay their dressing room is set, do you want me to put the schedule in there too?"

"Yes! Please I would like for them to be in a few sketches"

I nodded and made a copy of the schedule and put it on the table then went back to James Corden's dressing room.

"Anything else?" I asked him.

"That's it for now, thanks Kathy"

"Of course James" I smiled and went to see William and Ellie.

"How was she?" I asked William.

"Great as always"

"Thanks for always watching her"

"Of course"

I sat down next to her "I want to move out" I tell him "but I don't want to leave her, I've watched her grow up" I sighed "I've been there to help my sister and brother in law when they needed me"

"You can still help them out Kathy"

"I know but it'll be different and plus I want to get a really nice place which is why I've been staying at my sister's to save up money"

"Have you been looking?"

"Not really but I will" I tell him "do you know how's coming today?" I asked him.

"Yeah One Direction, I guess they're getting back together"

I took a deep breath "that's great" I brought Ellie close to me.

"Kathy! Can you please go greet our guest?!"

"Of course!"

I got up and went outside as Liam, Louis, Niall and of course Harry got out of the car.

"Hey guys" I smiled as they hugged me.

Harry was the last one out of the car "follow me and I will show you to your dressing room. I have all of your favorites in there so you're all set"
