Chapter 38

"Hey Gill" I mumbled as our parents and I walked through her front door.

"Hey Kat"

"Is it okay if we talk upstairs?" I asked her.

"Alright"

We went upstairs to Ellie's room as I picked her up and carried her "Harry thinks we should get married sooner and I feel like I'm not ready to get married" I told her "Gill, I'm sorry for the other day, of course you would of been one of the first people I call about my engagement"

"It's fine Kat, I'm sorry I overreacted and anyway about Harry. I agree with him sweetie. Having a long engagement can cause a problem between you and Harry, don't you want to marry him and just start your life together?"

"I do but I still feel like I'm too young to get married now"

"It doesn't matter if you're too young, it matters if you're ready for this next step. Are you ready for this next step?"

I sighed "I think I am"

"Then that answers it, you're ready"

I sighed, I still feel like I'm not. I hugged Gill and went back home. I called in today so I can have a day off and just spend it with family. I was walking passed Matt's room when I heard something. I opened the door and saw him laying in bed.

"Hey buddy, how come you aren't in school?"

"I don't feel well" he mumbled "dad called"

I felt his forehead and he was burning "what's wrong?"

"Stomach hurts" he mumbled.

"I'm going to get get you some medicine and make you some soup okay?"

"Okay"

"Just rest sweetie" I kissed his forehead.

I walked out of his room and started the soup. I grabbed his medicine and placed it on his night stand. I checked on the soup then went to see Harry.

"Hey guys" I smiled at Liam, Louis and Niall.

"Hey babe"

"Hey Haz" I smiled "just checking on you boys, do you need anything?"

"No we're too babe, how's Matt?"

"I told him to rest, I'm making him soup right now"

"Thanks for taking care of him"

"Of course"

I left the boys and went back to the kitchen. I poured the soup into a bowl and walked into Matt's room.

"Hey buddy, the soup is ready" he slowly sat up.

"Just eat what you can okay?"

"Okay thanks Kat"

"Of course honey" I smiled.

After he ate the soup, I gave him some medicine to help him rest. Hopefully by the time he wakes up, he should feel better.

I went back into the studio and sat on Harry's lap "why don't you go take a nap babe?"

"Mmm I have to check on Matt in bit, how's everything going on in here?"

"Good, it's coming along"

"That's great, I can't wait to hear it" I kissed Harry's cheek "I'm going to go check on Matt now"

I got up and went into Matt's room. I sat down and ran my hands through his hair.

"Matt, honey" he groaned "how you feeling?"
