Chapter 18

"You're going to be fine"

"Am I?" I fixed my outfit for the hundredth time.

Harry grabbed my hand "they are going to love you okay?" He brought my hand to his lips and kissed it "relax Kat"

"I'm trying Harry but this is your family"

"I was nervous when I met yours"

"Really?" I faced him.

"Of course! The more time I got to spend with them and get to know them the more comfortable I got and that will happen to you too okay?"

"Okay"

I took a deep breath as Harry parked the car "this is your childhood home" I tell him.

"Yup"

"Will we be staying here?"

"No, I have a flat so we'll be staying there"

"Okay" I nodded.

We got out of the car and headed towards the front door. Harry opened the door and I followed behind him.

"Mum, Robin, Gemma, this is my girlfriend Katherine"

"It's lovely to finally meet all of you" I smiled awkwardly.

Anne came over and hugged me, as Robin and Gemma did the same. Gemma went to play with Matt as his parents got to know me better.

"I was wondering if Matt can stay with you guys for tonight?"

"Why Harry?" Anne asked me.

"Well I know how much he misses you guys and Gemma"

"Alright sure" Harry smiled.

I answered all of his parents questions and Harry held my hand throughout it all which made me feel better.

"Katherine, would you like the tour?"

"Oh yes please! I would love that!"

I got up as Harry followed behind me. Anna gave me the tour around the house "you have a beautiful house Anne"

"Oh thank you sweetie"

"I'm going to go find Matt" Harry kisses my cheek.

"My son seems to really fancy you" Anne smiled at me "would you like something to drink?"

"Water would be fine thank you and Harry's a great guy and an amazing father"

She handed me a water bottle "but seriously Katherine, he genuinely seems very happy with you"

"I'm very happy with him too" I smiled.

"And you don't care about him being famous?"

"Not at all! I care about him and Matt and I told him many times not to buy me fancy gifts but he does it anyway"

"And you work?"

"Yes, I am also going to school"

"That's good, for what?"

"Writing" I nodded "I would like to write a book or have an article out or something like that"

"That's amazing Katherine"

"Thank you and Harry has been really supportive" I smiled "sometimes he'll read some of my pieces and give me advice and tell me what to fix or what's good and that really helps me"

"Aww that's very sweet"

Harry came back into the room "what's sweet?"

"You told Matt?" I asked him.
