Chapter 26

I helped Harry clean the house "how you feeling babe?" I wrapped my arms around Harry.

"Eh but anxious, you?"

"Nervous, scared and anxious" I laughed.

I kissed him as he went to check on Matt as I got dressed.

"She's on her way" Harry tells me before leaving the bedroom.

Why was I so nervous? Why was I acting like Matt was my son? I heard the door open and heard a voice. I took a deep breath and walked out into the living room area.

"Kendall, this is my girlfriend Katherine"

"It's nice to meet you" I smiled as I took my hand out to shake her hand but she just looked at Harry.

"What is she doing here? I thought it was just going to be the three of us"

"I live here" I crossed my arms "do you want something to drink Kendall?" I asked.

"Water is fine" she mumbled.

I nodded as Harry and Kendall sat down on the couch. I brought Kendall her water bottle and held Harry's hand.

"Aren't you two cute, now where is my son?"

"Kat, do you mind getting Matt?"

"Sure" I got up and went to Matt's room "it's time buddy" I bent down "how are you feeling?"

"Scared"

"I am too Matty, it's okay to be scared. Come on" I picked him up as I held him close "no matter what happens, your father and I love you okay?"

"I love you too Kat"

I kept running his back as I walked to the living room and sat down next to Kendall.

"Turn out bud" Harry tells Matt as he looks at me and nod.

Matt turned around and looked at Kendall and Kendall looked at him "he's so beautiful, hi Matty"

"Hi" he said shyly.

"Son this is Kendall, your mommy" Harry tells her "why don't you go take mommy to your room?"

Matt looked up at me "yeah, go show her your toys"

He got off my lap and grabbed Kendall's hand and walked to his room "he seems nervous" I tell Harry.

"He's also looking at you a lot"

"I'm sure he just wants to make sure I'm okay with it"

"He also spend months with you, he's comfortable with you already"

"Yeah, why don't you go check up on them"

Once Harry left, I went outside to call Elijah "Eli"

"What's up Kat?"

"You are never going to guess who's here?"

"Who? Wait you're at Harry's right?"

"Yeah and Matt's mother is here meeting Matt"

"Oh wow, how is Harry feelings?"

"I mean he seems to me fine but he didn't like the idea of her meeting him after like eight years"

"And you?"

"I didn't want her seeing him at all! I keep forgetting I'm not Matt's mother! And oh my god Eli! You should see him, he keeps looking at me because he's so nervous and he wants to make sure I'm okay"

"Aww that's so cute"

"Do you think she's going to want to spend more time with him?"

"I don't know" I sighed "Harry has been doing an amazing job raising him without her but she is Matt's mom"
