Chapter 23

Harry and Matt went home while I went back to work.

"Morning Chris!"

"Katherine, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure go ahead" I nodded.

"How come you don't post pictures of your boyfriend or how come he never visits and I never met him?"

"Well he values his privacy that's all"

"And that doesn't bother you? Don't you want people to know who you're with?"

"I mean of course I want people to know who I'm dating. I'm proud of him but once it's out it's going to be out and I don't know if we're ready for that"

"Why?"

"Because it's not going to be simple, just get to work Chris. Enough with the questions"

I sighed and went to work without talking to Chris all day. After work, I brought a smoothie and went home. I took a shower, when I came out my phone started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey love"

"Hey babe"

"Did you just get home?" He asked me.

"Yeah why?"

"I was wondering if you would like to come over for dinner and maybe stay the night"

"Um sure, do you think we can also talk?"

"Yeah yeah of course"

I hung up and got dressed then headed to Harry.

"Hey babe" I kissed him "where's my favorite little guy?"

"In his room"

After dinner, Harry and I went to his room with two glasses of wine.

"Okay so do you want to go first or should I?" Harry asked me.

"Um I'll go first" I mumbled "I was talking to Chris and he mentioned you and us. I know we haven't talked about it but do you want the world to know about us?" I asked him "I mean I didn't mind us being a secret from the rest of the world but I would like to go out and hold your hand instead of you staying home and being going out"

"Love" he grabbed my hand "it's not that I'm not ready, I just don't think we're ready for that. I don't want to put you through all of that"

"But I'll have you" I smiled "and Matt. I'm not saying we are ready either but it's something I think we need to talk about it"

"I agree on that Kat" he smiled.

"Your turn" I let out a little chuckle.

"While we were on our holiday, we talked about moving in together"

"Yes" I nodded.

"Now that I'm back, I wanted to know what you thought about it"

"Well I mean we haven't been dating for awhile but I know that I'm happy with you, with Matt. I know that the three of us seem like a little family and I love that. I love being apart of both of your lives"

"Love, where is this going?" He let out a laugh.

I laughed "this is a big decision Haz"

"I know that love, I know"

"Okay how about this, how about we do like a two week trial"

"Trial?"

"I'll move in for two weeks and if it goes well then I'll move in, if not then I won't move in until we're ready"

"Weird but I guess it sounds like a good idea"

"Okay so we'll start tomorrow"

"Alright"

I took a sip of my wine "I can't actually believe that I took care of Matt, and I was scared I wasn't capable of taking care of a kid"

"You were scared?" He asked me.

"Yes! I don't have a lot of experience with kids or babies"

"Why didn't you tell me?!"

"I don't know, I was scared Haz! I wanted to tell you but I wanted to see how I would do and I guess Matt is the perfect little kid"

Harry smiled "well he is my son after all"

I pushed him "shut up! I was so scared I was going to let you down, Harry"

"Oh honey, you would never let me down you know that" he kissed my hand "I love you"

"I love you too"

We laid in bed as Harry rubbed my back "you did a good job with Matt though"

"Yeah? Did he say anything?"
