Chapter 31

Today was the day I graduate, I was at Gill's house getting myself ready.

"Ellie, wanted to wish her auntie Kat good luck" Gill came in with Ellie.

I picked her up and kissed her cheek "I'll be right down" I handed Ellie back to Gill.

I texted Jackson then headed downstairs. Once we got to the school, I headed to the room and ran over to Elijah.

"Is James here?!"

"Yeah yeah he's here, is Jack here?"

"I don't know I texted him and nothing"

I felt my phone vibrate and I looked to see.

From Harry: I'm here with Matt and your family

I smiled "Harry's here" I tell Elijah.

"That's sweet of him to come"

"Yeah, can you believe we're graduating?"

"Not at all!" I hugged him "I love you so much Eli, I don't know what I will do without you"

"I love you too Kat"

He held my hand as we went out. I squeezed his hand as I got nervous. We sat down and I yelled as loud as I could when they called Elijah's name. Then they called my name and I could hear my family yelling. I looked over and saw Harry and Matt cheering me on and it just made me so happy. I looked around and didn't see Jackson.

I sat back down and held Elijah's hand "Jackson didn't come"

"What?!"

"He's not here" I mumbled.

"Are you going to get on his ass?"

"Of course"

After the graduation, Harry invited us to his house to celebrate. Harry kept looking at me as I was talking pictures with my family. I wanted to try to go over but I kept getting pulled for pictures.

"Is that all?" I asked my mom.

"Yes" she laughed as I went to go pick up my niece.

"Can you please try to put her down for a nap?" Ethan asked me.

"Yeah sure" I smiled and I walked away and ended up in Harry's room.

I began to rock Ellie back and forth as I sang Meet Me in the Hallway.

"Beautiful voice" I turned to see Harry "is she out?"

I looked at Ellie and slowly put her in the play bin so she can sleep. I turned to Harry.

"Thanks for inviting us over"

"Of course" he smiled "where's your boyfriend?"

I tried not to cry, I shrugged "I haven't heard from him since yesterday" I mumbled.

"I'm sorry Kat" I sat down and he placed his hand on my back.

My phone rang "it's him" I got up and went to the bathroom "What the hell Jackson?!"

"Kat I'm so so sorry babe!"

"What the fuck happened?!"

"I'm sorry Kathy! Time just slipped away from me and I wasn't near my phone all day!"

"So you are telling me that you didn't look at the time all day?! You're telling me, you didn't look up and see a clock and said oh shit, it's my girlfriend's graduation! I should go!"

"Kathy, I don't know what else to say but I'm sorry!"

"Were you cheating on me?" I asked him.

"What no!!"
