Chapter 42

"Hello who is this?" I asked while I was on the phone.

"This is Ryan Seacrest"

"Oh hi Ryan, what can I do for you?" I asked him.

"Well I was wondering if I have an interview with you"

"With me?"

"Yeah, what do you say Katherine"

"Sure yeah sure Ryan" I smiled.

"How about you come by the studio tomorrow?"

"Alright, see you tomorrow" I hung up.

"Who was that?" Camila asked as she grabbed some sour patches.

"Ryan Seacrest, he wants to interview me tomorrow"

"Wow that's great Kathy!"

"Thanks Camila" I smiled.

"Of course!" She smiled as she started posing "so you and Harry are planning the wedding right?"

"Yup, we haven't picked a date yet since we both have busy schedules and now we're trying to adopt"

"You're trying to adopt?" She looked at me.

"Yeah" I laughed "it's something I always wanted to do"

"Wow that's amazing Kathy! If you ever need dates off just let me know"

"Thanks, I think we're going to get married once we're finished with the adoption"

"Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"Well I wouldn't mind a little girl" I smiled "probably spoil her"

"Do you think Harry would like to have a girl?"

"I think he would, he would probably spoil her more than me"

"You guys are the cutest"

"Thanks Camila" I smiled while I handed her some more sour patches.

After her photo shoot, she let me go home early. So I headed to Gill's job to see my niece. After that, I headed home.

I closed the door behind me "Harry?" I called out to him.

"Bedroom" I walked over to the bedroom to see him on the phone.

"Yes tomorrow is fine, thank you" he hung up "Home early?" He kissed me.

"Yeah, what is happening tomorrow?"

"We are meeting with the social worker for our parent interview"

"Alright, let me just call Camila and let her know" I put my bag down and called Camila.

After I called Camila, I laid down on the bed and sighed.

"Want me to set a bath up for you?" Harry asked me.

"Mm I would love that babe, could you sing to me too please?"

"Of course" I sat up then got up and wrapped my arms around you "I love you"

"I love you too"

He went to go set up the bathtub for me as I grabbed a bath bomb and put it in. Once it was done melting, I got in and laid my head back while Harry sat on the floor next to the tub.

"Any suggestions?" He asked me.

"Anything is fine" I placed my hand on his arm.

He slowly started singing Wonderwall, after my bath I put pajamas on and joined Harry in the studio.

"How about we do a duet?" He asked me.

I smiled "alright"

"Emma can you come here?" Emma was Harry's assistant.

"Yes Harry?"

"I would like for you to film us singing if you don't mind"

"No sure" she grabbed the camera.

Harry and I got in the studio and the music started. Harry started singing Give Me Love and I slowly faded into singing it with him. After we were done we went over to Emma who handed Harry the camera.

"Wow Kat"

"What?" I looked up at him.

"You sound amazing" he chuckled.

I laughed "you really think so?"

"Yes! A million times yes!"

"You should post this" he looks at me "we could both post it on instagram"

"Okay" I nodded.

"I'll upload it for you" Emma suggested.

"After that Emma, you're good to go home" I tell her.

"Alright thanks Katherine"

I nodded and walked into the bedroom "what's wrong?" Harry asked me as he closed the door.

"I don't know, I just don't like Emma around the house sometimes"

"She's just my assistant Kat, you know that! She's been around for months"

"I know Haz! But it's not comfortable seeing another girl around you. I know she isn't a threat to us and our relationship but I still don't like her being around our home. I don't like her being around you when I'm not here. I'm still getting used to people knowing about me and us. I knew what I was getting myself into but it's hard sometimes" I sighed.

"What is it?" He asked.

"The hate Harry!" I cried "the looks, the stares! I know I think I can handle it but sometimes it goes too much for me"

"Why didn't you tell me about this?"

"I wanted you to think I was handling it" I sat on the bed.

He cupped my face "we're about to get married Katherine, you're problems are my problems. My problems are your problems. I don't want you ever thinking you have to go through anything alone okay? Because you have me"

I sighed and wrapped arms around him "I love you"

"I love you too" he kissed the top of my head.

I looked up at him "I forgot, Ryan Seacrest called me and wants to interview me tomorrow"

"What?!" Harry pushed me back as I laughed, he had the hugest grin I have ever seen "that's amazing babe!" He wrapped his arms around me and picked me up.

We went to upload the video then had dinner with Matt as we watched Avengers. I was crazy nervous about tomorrow, a lot was happening. I had the interview with Ryan then the interview with social worker.
