Chapter 3

"So how about this Tuesday?" Harry asked me.

"Oh I wish I could but my family is coming to visit to help me settle in my apartment"

"So you got it?"

"Yup! A one bedroom"

"Oh that's great Katherine!"

I smiled "thanks Harry, I wish I could come to Mexico to see your show"

"Oh it's alright, well I'll let you get back to your packing and I'll talk to you soon"

"Alright, bye Harry!"

"Bye Katherine!"

I hung up and sighed. I put the boxes in my car as I drove over to my new apartment. I put the boxes down then texted my roommate to tell her that I left.

My phone rang and it was Elijah "Hey Eli!"

"Hey are you moved in?"

"Um not completely I'm still unpacking plus my family is coming to help but I think the apartment will be done"

"I'll stop by when I can"

"Okay"

I sighed as I then texted Harry.

To Harry: give me a playlist to unpack to or something, feel like I'm losing my mind

From Harry: lol give me a second

Then he sent me a playlist and I sent him a thank you text. I pressed shuffle as I began to unpack and went out to get furniture then assemble my place. My music stopped as my mom was calling. I sat down and answered.

"Hey mom" I sighed.

"Hey sweetie, how is the apartment going?"

"Actually almost done" I tell my mom.

"Alright then so maybe we won't go visit okay?"

"Alright, once it's done I'll FaceTime you to show you"

"Okay"

I hung up and laid out in my bed in exhaustion once I finished. I got a text and grabbed my phone and placed it in front of me.

From Harry: How's it going?

To Harry: Actually just finished and my parents aren't coming so I think I can go to Mexico

From Harry: really that's great! I'll pay for your flight and get everything settled for you

To Harry: Alright, thank you for all of that and I'll see you soon

From Harry: See you soon Kathy

I put my phone on my nightstand as I went to the door to lock up. I ate some leftover pizza as I watched The Office again on my laptop. Then I set up a bath for myself and placed my laptop on a tub shelf along with a glass of wine. It was like midnight already, I got out of the tub. Put my laptop on my desk, cleaned the tub, put my pajamas on as I did some final outlines for my final exams. Then I finally went to sleep around two in the morning.
