"You are not coming with, Kyle." I groaned as I walked away from my brother and headed toward my bedroom window. Luke and Audrey were sitting a little ways down the road from my house, I could see them from my window. Somehow, Kyle found out that I was going to the party and came into my room, insisting that I take him with me. Although it was almost midnight, I was wide awake and not in the mood to deal with him.

"Fine," Kyle shrugged, still standing in my doorway, "I'll just go wake up mom amd dad and tell them that you're sneaking out to go to a party. They'll really like that."

I sighed and turned to face Kyle, a small smile visible on his face. "Are we seriously going to do this?"

"Yes." Kyle nodded. I really didn't want to look after Kyle the whole night, but he was fifteen. He could look after himself, right?

"Come help me open this window." I gave in, I didn't see the harm in him coming. He needed to have some fun just as much as I did.

"Don't go through the window," Kyle shook his head, "We can go out the front door. Mom and dad will never know." I hesitantly nodded, hoping I could trust his plan.

We went downstairs and made it out of the house easily, and I was relieved. Our parents would have killed us if they saw us sneaking out. Kyle and I walked down the street to Luke's car and climbed in the backseat.

"Kyle?" Audrey turned around and looked at the boy quizzically. Shit, I forgot they knew each other and now Kyle was going to know that Luke was Audrey's boyfriend. I really didn't think everything through.

"Hey, Audrey." Kyle smiled awkwardly and shifted his gaze to Luke, who lifted his eyebrows at Kyle in question. "Surprise, I'm Caroline's brother." I literally face-palmed.

"Oh, well that's new." Audrey chuckled lightly and turned back around in her seat. We all stayed slient for a few seconds before I cleared my throat.

"Well, this has been sufficiently awkward, so can we get to the party?" I asked Luke who was just sitting in his seat, taking in everything that was happening. Luke nodded and started the car, speeding off down the road.

The party was loud, and new. I had never been to a party before, and at the moment I was regretting coming to this one. Everyone was kissing, drinking, and grinding on one another.

The four of us passed a group of people doing some kind of drug that was unknown to me. I didn't want to find out what kind of drug it was either. We walked inside of the house and the stench of alcohol hit me with the force of a freight train. I crinkled up my nose in disgust. Don't get me wrong, I had drank before at the camp, but the smell was ridiculous. The music was blaring and I just knew that I was going to have a migraine later.

Luke turned to Kyle and Kyle nodded his head at him. I stared at them quizzically for a minute before Kyle spoke.

"Hey, Audrey, let's go dance." Audrey opened her mouth to say something but before she could, Kyle was already dragging her away.

Luke turned back to me and smirked, something he seemed to do a lot. I rolled my eyes at him and turned away from him. I crossed my arms over my chest and scanned the room, watching the people as they danced. I didn't like the fct that I was there with only Luke. Audrey and Kyle were gone, the only people that he wasn't a jerk around.

"Want a beer?" Luke asked from beside me. I shook my head.

"Remember the first time I tried alcohol?"

"Beer isn't as strong as liquor," Luke shook his head this time, "You'll probably like it better." Luke tried to grab my hand but I jerked away from him. He held his held up in surrender and walked away, me following behind. We approached a table with about five buckets full of ice on them. There were multiple beer bottles stinking out of the ice, Luke grabbing two. He opened them and handed one to me.
