Luke brought Kyle home shortly after he dropped me off. I waited at my bedroom door for him, considering he had to walk by my room to get to his I knew he would see me. I wanted to know where he and Audrey had disappeared to during the party. Sure, it was none of my business but you don't just take a guy's girlfriend right in front of him and stay away for the night. And I also just wanted to make sure Kyle got home in one piece, Luke wasn't very trustworthy.

"Where were you and Audrey tonight?" I leaned up against the doorway of my room, arms crossed over my chest. Kyle jumped back and almost fell down the stairs, apparently he hadn't seen me as I hoped he would.

"Jesus, Caroline." Kyle whisper-yelled, considering our parents were just a few doors down.

"Well?" I was growing impatient already, my nosey self wanted details.

"What's it any of your business where we were?" Kyle rolled his eyes as he walked past me to his room. I followed him to the room next door and stood there as he opened the door.

"You two disappeared and I was just wondering where you went. I was looking for you." I shrugged.

"Why were you looking for us?" Kyle turned around.

"I was concerned." I lied, though I was a little worried about him. I wasn't sure if Luke had mentioned anything to him, I hoped he didn't.

"Says the person who ditched me." Kyle scoffed and turned back around, walking into his room.

"I didn't ditch you, I just needed to get out of there."

"Why?" Kyle asked as he pulled his shirt over his head, slinging it across the room.

"Not important," I shook my head, "But what is important is where you and Audrey were at that party." I pointed at him.

"We were dancing in the living room with everyone else." Kyle walked back over to the door and stopped in front of me.

"No, you weren't. I checked in there." I didn't understand why Kyle wouldn't just tell me the truth, it wasn't like I was going to tell anyone. The only people I could tell would be Audrey and Calum. Audrey was already involved so she would know, and Calum didn't even live in Utah and could probably care less.

"Then we weren't in the living room dancing." Kyle shrugged, a smile playing at his lips.

I groaned. "Why won't you just tell me?" It couldn't be too bad. I mean, Audrey didn't seem like the type of person that would cheat. But neither did Luke before I got to know the real him.

"Goodnight, Caroline." Kyle laughed as he shut the door in my face.

"And then I was like, 'Why didn't you tell me?' And she was like 'I didn't know how you would react.' And I said, 'Well I don't think we can be friends anymore.' So, we haven't spoken to each other since."

"You haven't spoken to your friend because of a movie?" I blinked a few times, trying to process what Audrey had just told me.

"'Frozen' was intense, okay? And it ruined me." Audrey nodded, as if what she had said was a proven fact. I had to admit that 'Frozen' was a really good movie and had an unforeseen plot twist, but it wasn't worth losing a friend over.

"You have some serious issues." I chuckled and shook my head at her. She laughed.

Audrey and I were at a small burger joint that she said her and Luke came to regularly. I told my mom I was going to the library to study, and surprisingly she bought it. Even though I was grounded, she still let me go, I wasn't sure why. Audrey had been talking most of the time that we were there, but I really didn't mind. I was just happy to be hanging out with her for a while without Luke being around.
