"What do you mean Luke is picking me up?" I groaned into my phone. I was on the phone with Calum, who said he was going to pick me up in Luke's car for the New Years Eve party but apparently there was a change of plans. Not only had Calum told me that Luke was picking me up, he also said that Audrey woudn't be at the party for some unknown reason. That bummed me out because I knew I would be alone again, I had a feeling Calum wasn't going to stick around the whole time.
"I'm sorry, Caroline. I just told him that I would go by your house and pick you up, then he was like 'You don't even know where she lives.' And I couldn't tell him I did, you know? And how exactly does he know where you live?"
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Long story."
"Well, Luke left about fifteen minutes ago so he should be there by now." Calum voice rang through the receiver.
I walked over to my window, looking over to the place that Luke had parked last time he picked me up for a party. I seen his black Benz sitting there, patiently waiting for me.
"He's here." I ended the call before Calum could say anything else. I shouldn't have been mad at him, it really wasn't his fault Luke was picking me up.
I walked down the stairs quietly, knowing my family were all in their rooms. I had told my mon I was going to bed early because I didn't feel well, I knew she wouldn't be back in to check on me that night. So, I was safe to go anywhere I pleased.
I made in out if the house and jogged to Luke's car, ready to get out of the cold might air. Luke was sitting in the car in a plain white shirt and black jeans, he seemed to be warm himself, considering the heat was blasting throughout the car.
"You look hot," Luke commented as I got into the car, his eyes trailing my body. I was wearing a dress, for once in my life but only because Calum requested it.
"Actually, I'm quite cold." I joked as I buckled my seatbelt, waiting for Luke to drive off. Luke only smirked and pressed the gas, sending the car practically flying down the road.

Luke and I walked into the party, the volume of the music making me want to cover my ears, the music at the last party wasn't that loud.
Luke's house was gigantic, and I'm not exaggerating. The thing had three stories, not sure what the third one was for but it was there. The living room was packed, which made the room seem smaller than it was.
"Michael, Ashton, and Calum are in the guest house," Luke informed me as I followed him through the dancing bodies, "You can talk to them later if you want."
"Why can't I talk to them now?" I was pretty anxious to see them, it felt like forever and I at least wanted to say hi.
"I'm pretty sure they're having their own little party over there, if you know what I mean." Luke looked over his shoulder at me, wiggling his eyebrows. I laughed softly, trying not to get a mental picture of that.
Luke approached a table with all kinds of different alcohol on it and I raised an eyebrow, wondering where the hell he got it all.
"Who bought all this?"
"My neighbor picked it up for me," Luke shrugged, picking up a few beers and a bottle of wine, "He's twenty-two and I promised that if he got me alcohol, he could come to the party. He's around here somewhere."
"Most of the girls here are underage." I said, wondering why the hell a twenty-two year old would want to come to a high school party.
"Maybe he likes them young, I don't know." Luke shrugged again, beginning to walk away from me. I sighed, feeling like I was in the same predicament as last time. I would have to follow him because if I didn't, I would be alone.
