"Audrey?" I exclaimed. I swear I almost choked on my food.
"Yeah," Kyle nodded, "But get this, she has a boyfriend."
"I know." I mumbled. It was weird how Kyle and I were tangled up in this mess together. Moving to Utah wasn't good for any of us.
"She is off limits then," my dad shook his head at Kyle, "You don't interfere with someone's relationship, Kyle."
"I won't have to," Kyle told us, "This guy that is also in our Chemistry class told me that her boyfriend is a real jerk and he cheats on her and stuff. That won't last long." I didn't want to tell Kyle that Luke was Audrey's boyfriend. He knows what Luke looks like and God only knows what Kyle would do with that information.
"Just don't interfere." My dad warned again. Kyle nodded.
"I'm going to my room." I said quickly and I stood up and left the dining room. Everyone looked at me quizzically as I walked out but I didn't care. I went upstairs and went into my room, lying down on the bed.
I quickly got my phone out and called Calum. It had been a few hours since we skyped, so I figured that Mali and James had already left.
He picked up on the third ring.
"Caroline?" Calum's voice answered.
"Dude, we need to talk."

I was at my locker, getting my things out and putting them into my bookbag. After I had talked to Calum the night before, I stayed up all night. I was thinking about what Calum said, he told me that I should just forget about Luke because that was what he was going to do. I hated that I had messed up their relationship but Calum deserved to know.
I didn't know why Kyle becoming friends with Audrey worried me. I guess I just didn't want Luke getting mad at Kyle and accusing him of messing around with his girlfriend. Even though Luke had no right to say anything. He was a cheater himself.
"So, now I know where your locker is." I turned my head to see Luke leaning against my neighbor's locker.
I rolled my eyes. "It was none of your business anyway."
"Someone's in a bad mood." Luke smirked, his hand reaching up and running through his blonde hair.
"You always put me in a bad mood." I retorted, closing my locker and slinging my bookbag over my shoulder.
Luke opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by Audrey. "Oh hey, you two." She came up and gave me a side hug as I stood there awkwardly, not moving. "Luke, I was wondering if you would stay with me for track and then drive me home afterward?" I swear I was learning more about Luke and Audrey by the second, she runs track and he drives.
"Sure," Luke nodded, a smile on his face, "I'll meet you at the track." Audrey stood on her tip-toes and gave Luke a quick kiss on the mouth. But as she pulled away, Luke pulled her back and deepened the kiss, kissing her forcefully. I knew he was doing it on purpose, trying to make me jealous. But what he didn't know was that it didn't faze me. Those small feelings I had for Luke left on the first day of school, when I saw who he really was.
"I-I'll see you in a bit." Audrey stuttered as she and Luke pulled away from one another. She walked away from us, obviously flustered by Luke's actions.
"Wow, you amaze me." I let out a mocking laugh, "How is it that you become a bigger asshole everyday?"
"I've said it before and you've even said it yourself, no one knows the real me." A half smile was on Luke's face. It was true, Luke had everyone fooled. Well, maybe not everyone. Kyle did say that some guy in his Chemistry class knew about Luke cheating but he could be a close friend of Luke's or something.
"You're a good actor," I crossed my arms over my chest, "You should sign up for theatre. You might get the leading role in the next play."
"That's good idea." Luke pursed his lips and nodded, "I do like pretending to be people I'm not."
I felt so stupid, this guy standing in front of me was not the guy I knew before. I had believed his lies and believed he was a harmless teenage boy, when in reality he was a douchebag. It was sickening. He was sickening.
"Well, I need to go find my brother and you need to go to your girlfriend." I turned and walked away from Luke. I wanted to get away from him, he was seriously getting on my nerves.
"Aw, is little Caroline jealous of my girlfriend?" Luke called from behind me.
"In your fucking dreams, Hemmings!" I called back to him without even turning around.
