"I don't understand how the hell this house has gotten this messy in a matter of days." Luke threw his hands up in the air, clearly irritated with Michael, Calum, and Ashton.
"You should have come over here and checked on them more often," I shrugged, "Now, come here and help me with this sheet."
Luke and I were currently in the guest house helping the boys clean up before they left. Luke's parents were coming home in a few days, so the boys had to be gone before they got back. Michael would be leaving the day after, and Ashton and Calum were leaving the day after Michael. Of course, the boys didn't want to leave, and they said it wasn't because they would miss us. They said that they didn't want to leave the guest house, since it was just as big as Luke's house. We knew they were joking, trying to make better of the situation.
Luke and I were upstairs, changing the sheets on the beds, even though the boys would be sleeping on them for a few more nights. Ashton and Michael were downstairs cleaning the living room and bathroom, while Calum was upstairs with us cleaning the upstair bathrooms.
"I never asked," I said as I hooked a corner of the sheet around the matress, "Where did your parents go?"
"They went on vacation," Luke answered, trying his best to do the same that I did with the corner of the sheet, "in Bali." He finished.
"You didn't want to go?" I asked, not seeing why Luke would stay behind. I would definitely want to go with my parents, especially if the vacation was in Bali.
"They didn't exactly ask me to go." Luke shrugged, still struggling with the one corner of the bed. I walked over to where he was and pulled the sheet down with ease, to which Luke grimaced at me. "I could have done that."
"No, you couldn't have." I felt bad for Luke, his parents just leaving him behind like that, not even caring if he was going to be alone, or not. My mom would never just leave me behind, at least not before asking me if I wanted to come. I couldn't imagine having parents who just didn't care at all, even though my dad acted like he didn't.
"Why do we even have to do this?" Luke complained, "My parents won't even come over here any time soon. This place could here for months in horrible condition and they wouldn't have the slightest idea."
"It would be your luck that they would come over the day they return home," I laughed, finishing up making the bed as Luke watched from behind me.
"That's true," Luke said. I smoothed out the comforter over the bed and fluffed the pillows, standing back and sighing in satisfaction once I was finished.
"One done, two more to go." I turned around to face Luke, only to find him a few inches from me. He startled me, causing me to stumble and fall on the bed. "Luke," I whined, "I just finished." I was slightly annoyed considering that we had been working on the one bed for about twenty minutes because Luke couldn't do it right. He kept asking me how to do certain things, like how to put the pillow case on the pillow. I thought it was pretty obvious, but Luke didn't. It was apparent that his mom did all the house work.
Luke laughed at me, only causing me to become more annoyed. "I'm serious, Luke." I sat up on the bed, my legs barely hanging off the edge.
"I'm sorry," Luke covered his mouth with his hand, trying to hold in any more laughs that wanted to escape. I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him. "Aw, I didn't mean to make you mad." Luke took a came closer to me, laying his hands on my shoulders. I stared at him, wondering what he was up to. Luke gently pushed my shoulders, pushing me back down onto the bed. I started to get back up but Luke stopped me by shaking his head. I sighed, waiting for whatever Luke was about to do. I tensed up as Luke spread my legs apart and positioned himself between them. He climbed on top of me, and his hands on either side of my head. He stared down at me, a smirk evident on his face. I tried to keep a straight face, my arms still over my chest.
