"Mommy?". Kayden shook Alex as she snored asleep.
"Yes?! What happened?!". Alex woke up startled.
"Issa party day!". Kayden cheered.
"Oh, ok, what time is it?". Alex stretched her arms out.
"I don know". Kayden shrugged his tiny shoulders.
Alex looked at the her phone and it was 6am.
"Why are you up so early?". Alex frowned at him.
"Is my birday". He smiled showing his teeth.
"Ok. What you wanna eat for breakfast?". Alex asked.
"Pantakes, muffins, wayfles, donos, and baton". He listed.
"What's with all the bread items?". Alex chuckled.
"I like bred". He grinned.
She got up and brused her teeth and washed her face. She changed his diaper and put him in his highchair.
"You said pancakes, muffins, and waffles?". Alex attempted to remember everything he said.
"And baton!". He pointed at her.
She took out some pancake mix and followed the directions. She cut up some bacon and put the pieces in the mix. She stirred it making sure the bacon was even in the bowl and begin pouring the batter in the pan.
"Good morning allllll". Jordan came into the kitchen singing.
"Jj!". Kayden called.
"How can I help you birthday boy?". Jordan asked.
"You wanna pantake?". Kayden asked.

"Tank you". He smiled ripping a piece off and shoving it in his mouth.
"You welcome". Alex kissed his forehead.
She put away the pancake mix and took out the waffle mix.
"What's that for?". Jordan asked.
"He want a waffle too". Alex explained.
Jordan nodded and winked at her best friend.
Alex got the cake icing and sprinkles. She made three medium sized waffles.
She put the icing in the microwave until it melted completely. She took one waffle and put the icing and sprinkles on top. She repeated this three more times and then added candy and three candles on top. She looked over to Kayden who was watching tv and had finished his pancake.
"You ready for your waffles?". She asked him.
"Yes pease". He nodded.
