Chapter 55

Alex woke up feeling happy. She was going to plan her wedding today with Carter, Kayden, Nick, Kensey, and Jordan.

"Baby!". Alex shook Carter's shoulder.

"Hmm". He rolled over wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Get up, we need to go so we can meet with people for the wedding". Alex tried to get out of bed but his grip was strong.

He bit her thigh.

"Ouch!". Alex pushed him away.

"That hurt". Alex piked her bottom lip out.

Carter went over to her and kissed her.

"I'm sorry, they just so thick". He placed his hands on her butt.

"Well you just keep ypur hands to yourself". Alex turned on her heels and went out the room.

She went to Kayden's room and he was still asleep.

"Wake up baby". She kissed him all over his face.

His eyes fluttered open.

"Good morning Mommy". He smiled groggily.

She picked him up and took him to the bathroom. He used it and she gave him a bath. She got him dressed and combed his hair out.

"You want me to braid it back?". Alex asked him.

"No". He shook his head.

Alex nodded.

She cooked breakfast, which consisted of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and waffles.

She cut up his waffles and put syrup on the side. She handed him his plate.

"Thank you mommy". He grinned.

Alex went back upstairs and Carter was fully dressed.

"You ain't dressed yet?". Carter whined.

"I was on Mommy duties". Alex poked her tongue out at him.

She took a shower and got dressed. She did her hair and makeup and then went back downstairs.

Carter was eating and so was Kayden.

Alex fixed her food and then poured three cups of orange juice.

"Where is our first stop?". Carter asked.

"First we going to look at wedding dresses and tuxedos. You and Nick pick out your tux and Kayden's tux. Since Nick is your best man y'all can figure that out. Me, Jordan, and Kensey will go and pick out my wedding dress and the maid of honor dress and the flower girl dress. Next we're going to a jeweler to pick out wedding bands for each other, and then we are going to look at venues and do some cake tasting and food tasting then we can come home". Alex listed.

"Wow. All this to marry the love of my life". Carter smiled at Alex.

"Nice try but yo ass is going". Alex chuckled.

He rolled his eyes.

After they finished eating Carter washed the dishes and Alex cleaned Kayden's mouth.

"What we doing after the wedding stuff?". Carter asked Alex.

"We going to Disney Land". Alex planned.

She went back upstairs and packed a small bag with water and snacks for Kayden.

She came back downstairs.

"Everybody else gonna meet us at the place". Alex told Carter.

They went outside and Alex strapped Kayden in.

"Mommy we go to Disney Land?". Kayden asked.

"Yes. I always wanted to go but never had the time so, I guess we can make it a family event". Alex smiled.

She put the bag on the floor under his feet.

She got in the passenger seat and Carter drove.

"So you getting a white suit or a black suit?". Alex looked to Carter.

"I'll probably get a white one to match your dress". He nodded.

They arrived at the fitting and Jordan and Nick were there.

"Hey bride to be". Jordan hugged Alex.

"Hey pregnant lady". Alex hugged her back.

"Hi Auntie Alex". Kensey hugged Alex's waist.

"Hey Kensey how are you?". Alex loved how Kensey had changed from the shy little girl to the happiest in a span of a couple months.

"Good. I'm gonna be your flower girl!". She cheered.

"I know. I bet your gonna be a beautiful flower girl". Alex grinned.

They headed inside and everyone went their separate ways. The guys went to one side of the store and the girls went to the other side.

The clerk came right up to Alex.

"I have three dresses for Alex Winters?". The woman read off her list.

"Yes that is correct". Alex nodded.

She led them into a dressing room.

"Ok I'm gonna try on my wedding dress and then y'all can try on y'all dresses". Alex informed them.

Jordan nodded and sat in a chair. Kensey sat on her lap.

Alex went into the dressing room. She undressed and slipped into her dress. She zipped it up and pushed the curtain back.

Jordan gasped and tears came t her eyes.

"Wow. Its beautiful!". Kensey cheered.

"Thank you Kensey". Alex twirled.

"You look so beautiful". Jordan wiped away a couple tears.

"Awww JJ". Alex pulled Jordan into a hug.

Kensey tried on her flower girl dress.

"What do you think". Alex looked over to Jordan.

"She is such a cutie". Jordan gushed.

Then Jordan tried on her maid of honor dress.

"I feel like I'm fat". Jordan frowned.

"Trust me I felt that way when I was pregnant with Kayden. It will pass. Plus the wedding is going to be after you have the baby so you should be good". Alex reassured her.

"You know just what to say". Jordan smiled.

Once they were done they headed to the men's section to see the boys were done.

"Everything's good?". Alex questioned.

"Yep. So we headed where?". Carter asked.

"To see the venue I picked for the wedding and reception". Alex put her hand in his.

"Alright lets go". He began to walk toward the front door.

"Mommy can I go with Auntie Alex". Kensey looked up at Jordan pleadingly.

"OK. But be good". Jordan nodded.

Kensey cheered and caught up with Alex, Carter and Kayden.

Everyone got into their cars and drove to the venue.
