"I've been expecting you for a while". Mrs. Winters smirked.

"I-I". Alex stuttered.

Carter grabbed her thigh under the table.

"No need to be nervous. I know why your here. You want to apologize for sending me here. But I want to stop you now, I don't forgive you". Mrs. Winters spat.

Alex was shocked.

"Mommy-I-you didn't tell me that he wasn't dead. You tried to take my child away from me what else was I supposed to do?". Alex shrieked.

"You were supposed to let things play out. Yet, you were too spoiled to wait and let everything fall into plan". Mrs. Winters replied.

"Let things play out? I was supposed to let you taking my child play out?". Alex frowned.

"You weren't fit to be a Mother. You still aren't now". Mrs. Winters rolled her eyes.

Alex felt her sadness turn into anger.

"Me? You treated me like I was a burden as a child. I never met my sister or my grandmother, yet I am a bad mother?". Alex was shaking with rage.

"It takes a bad mother to know one". Mrs. Winters was smug.

Before anyone could stop her Alex swung her open hand and slammed it across her Mother's face.

"I came to make amends with you! But now, I don't want it. I hope you rot in jail you bitter bitch!". Alex yelled.

Carter wrapped her entire upper body in his arms to prevent her from slapping her Mother again.

"Alex yo! What the fuck are you thinking!". Carter yelled pushing her toward the door.

The guard opened the exit door and they walked out into the parking lot.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!". Alex yelled.

"No! Why the fuck you putting yo fucking hands on somebody in a fucking prison! They could pin yo ass for fucking assault! But you want to fuckin resolve every fuckin problem with a fight or a fuckin hit! I told yo ass, if I was gonna marry you, you need to start actin like a motherfucking wife! Do you think that was a wife move what the fuck you just did in there?!". He yelled in her face.

"Don't fucking yell in my face! I'm tired of all this shit! You talking about me being a wife, nigga you wasn't being a husband when you fucking proposed though!". Alex spat.

"I fucked up! I admit that, but I can't keep dealing with you if you keep acting like this!". He threatened.

"Then don't". Alex took her ring off and threw it at him.

She got in the car leaving Carter, who was on the phone with an Uber.

She drove out of the parking lot and in the direction of home.

Once she got in the driveway, she cut the car off.  She sat there for a moment. Her chest was rising and falling quickly. She was going to have a meltdown.

Alex began to scream at the top of her lungs punching the steering wheel.

After a few minutes she stopped.

She got out of the car and went inside the house.

"Alex what the hell happened between you and Carter?!". Jordan frowned.

"I could be pregnant". Was all Alex said.

Jordan's eyes grew wide.

"I'm so happy for you!". Jordan gave her a hug.
