Alex hauled her giant suitcase onto her bed as Kayden was jumping up and down watching cartoons.

"Are you excited about going to New York?". She asked him.

"Yes". He nodded plopping down on the bed.

"You know Daddy is coming to right?". She questioned.

"Yes. You go ona date?". He cocked his head to the side.

"Hell no!". She stopped packing.

"Thassa bad wor! Give me yo han". He stood and held his hand out.

She held her hand out to amuse him, and he popped her two times.

"You be good now". He pointed a finger in her face.

"Yeah, yeah whatever". She chuckled.

She finished packing her stuff and grabbed his tiny suitcase. She packed his clothes and a diaper bag and hauled everything downstairs.

"Common Kay so we can go to the airport, Jj waiting for us". She called to him.

He carefully descended the steps holding onto the railing.

He ran to her and they went to the car. She put the luggage in the trunk. She gave Kayden a sippy cup filled with water and juice. She turned the car on and went back upstairs to lock up while Kayden followed her every move.

After locking up she called Jay to make sure he was on his way to the airport and strapped Kaydren in his carseat and got in the car.

"Hello?". He answered.

"You on your way to the airport?". She asked backing out of her parking space.

"I can't make it". He sighed simply.

"What the hell do you mean?!". She shouted.

"Damn! I'm playing! Jesus, calm down I'm on the way". He chuckled.

"Look I don't have time for you playing, this is important to me and it should be to you. This is your one chance to prove you can be trusted alone with Kay". Alex reminded him.

"I am serious. I don't want to lose your trust again". He reassured her.

"Ok. We'll see". She rolled her eyes.

She hung up the phone and looked in the back seat to see Kayden asleep.

She drove in silence hoping that Jay was really serious about all of this.

She entered the entrance to the airport and drove to the parking garage. She parked her car next to Jay's and got out. She went to the trunk and took out Kayden's stroller. She took him out and strapped him in the stroller. She threw her purse in the bottom compartment and continued taking their luggage out. She put Kaydens suitcase on top of hers and put his diaper bag at the bottom of the stroller. She locked the car up and made sure she had everything. Kayden began waking up so she gave him his Elmo toy. They got to the front doors of the airport and went inside. Jay and Jordan were sitting off to the side.

"Hello people". Alex greeted them.

"Hi wifey". Jordan joked.

Alex giggled.

Kayden was wide awake now.

"Jj!". He called.

"Yes sir Mr. Kayden sir". Jordan mocked a military official.

Kayden laughed at her small gesture.

They all went to their plane gate.

"First class passengers". The flight attendant called.
