The Bad Part About Loving Her

Chapter 57

It's true what they say. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Alex had tried to get her sister to leave her Father and have nothing to do with him. But now, since Janai couldn't get Alex to come to her Father's side, Janai was kicked out. Alex confirmed it all when she saw what she thought to be her Father's new wife throwing Janai's clothes out of a third floor window.

"God I hope she falls out". Alex muttered to herself.

Alex went over to a sobbing Janai and knelt down in front of her.

"Hey, Janai come on we need to leave". Alex tried to pull her up.

She slowly got up and Alex led her to the car. Alex went back to the house to get all of Janai's clothes off the ground.

After picking up the last shirt she hauled everything to the car. She went around the drivers side and got in the car. They drove in silence to Alex's house.

Once they arrived Janai numbly went to take a shower. Alex had offered her the same room she had which was still decorated the same.

Alex felt tired yet angry at her Dad for kicking Janai out. That was just using her.

Alex went upstairs and heard crying. She opened the door to Janai's room and she was curled into a ball crying.

Alex came into the room. She sat on the edge of the bed and Janai laid her head in Alex's lap.

"I feel so used". Janai chocked out another cry.

"It's going to be ok". Alex didn't know what to say to her.

"All this time, I grew up to thinking that he was right. And in the end he threw me out like I was nothing". Janai cried even more.

Alex felt so sorry for her sister. She wanted to take the pain away, but she knew she there was nothing she could do.

"I'm gonna fix this". Alex stood up.

She walked into her bedroom and Carter was sleeping.

"Carter get up!". She shouted.

He shot up.

"Huh?". He looked around confused.

"I need to do something and it includes my Father". Alex sighed nervously.

Around eight in the morning, Alex had gathered her entire family together to talk about her plan.

"This is not going to be an easy task. I must go under cover as his business partner. I will gather all the information I can and then, hand him over to the prosecutor who is on his case. I am not sure how long this will take but I need to bring him down before he hurts one of you". Alex planned.

"So your gonna meet up with him?". Jordan frowned.

"Yes. I am going to tell him I'm tired of fighting and that I want to join him". Alex sighed.

"I don't want you doing this alone". Carter stood up.

"Ok. Well I don't want you sucked into this". Alex sighed.

"Fine. I guess as long as this is over it'll be ok". Carter nodded.

Alex took his hand and squeezed it.

"I'm gonna be ok. I just need to do this". Alex reassured him.

She went upstairs and began to get ready for the meeting with her Father.

Alex parked in the parking space of the Ihop her Father wanted to meet at.

She recognized three black SUVs parking on either side of her. One on the right, one on the left, and the last one blocking her into her parking space.
