The Bad Part About Loving Her

Chapter 51

Alex had to wake up again around 6am to get her hair retouched for the morning talk show The Tea. She would be going on with Kayden and Carter seeing as no one knew the entire story on their relationship.

"You ready to go?". Nick looked to the couple.

Alex picked up Kayden who was half asleep still. He laid his head on Alex's shoulder.

Nick drove while Carter sat in the front seat and Alex was in the backseat with Kayden.

They arrived at the studio and Nick pulled up to the back. The press automatically started snapping pictures. Nick got out of the car along with Carter and opened Alex's door. She unbuckled Kayden and got him out of his seat. As soon as she got out of the car,  the flashes were rapid. Alex made it in the building and was sent to her dressing room.

"Good morning Ms. Winters. I am so glad you decided to join us. I'm your host Nina and I want to say it is a pleasure to have you and your beautiful family on the show". The host came into Alex's dressing room to greet her.

"Thank you so much for having us. We have always wanted to be on the show, so when my manager told me that you wanted us on, we automatically jumped on the chance". Alex smiled.

"I'm so glad to hear that, well we go on in ten minutes so get comfortable, it looks like y'all are already done getting ready, so just relax and we will start momentarily". The host left the dressing room.

Carter came back into the holding two cups of coffee in his hand.

"Here ya go". He handed Alex the coffee and kissed her cheek.

Alex sipped her coffee and stood from her chair.

After drinking her coffee she got Kayden dressed.

"Lets go". Alex sighed.

They went backstage and the stage crew hooked up earpieces and sound systems onto their clothing.

"We go on in five minutes people!". The stage manager announced frantically.

Alex drew circles in Carter's wrist.

"Having fun there?". He smirked looking down at her.

"It makes me less nervous". Alex sighed.

"Glad I could help". He kissed the top of her head.

Alex kissed Kayden's head.

"We are live in five, four, three, two!". The director shouted.

"Good Morning Los Angeles it is a fine Monday morning and I am your host Nina Alregaldo. And today we have a the most well known dancer along with her fiance and their cute baby boy. I introduce Alex Winters, Carter Green, and Kayden Winters to the stage".  Nina gestured toward the entrance and Alex emerged with Carter by her side and Kayden walking on her other side, his hand in hers.

"Welcome, welcome". Nina smiled.

"Thank you for having us". Alex smiled.

"So Alex we want to know, how did you guys meet". Nina got right to tye point.

"Well, he was my bodyguard and we actually ended up not liking each other so it was a weird thing that me and him ended up being friends and then one day it just clicked to kiss each other and the rest was history". Alex smiled.

"And Carter how would you have described Alex, back when you guys were in ypur early stages?". Nina looked to Alex.

"From my point of view, when I first met her, I thought she was a person who I wouldn't consider being friends with. She was too much for me because of the fierceness she carried and the way she presented herself. I knew that I liked her, but I couldn't let her know that. So I distanced myself ". He replied.
