Chapter 10

I don't know what is happening. I don't know why Perrie is so different to me. I always want to be near her, I always want to talk to her, I always want to be close to her and I care so much about her. She just sees me as everyone else, just a friend. But I don't, she's like my only friend that I talk to everyday. Normally I hate people and I get annoyed so easily, but she? Whatever she does I don't get annoyed by her even though she does something that normally would make me mad, I can't be mad at her.

Sometimes in class she doesn't talk to me and that kinda hurts, I want her to notice me and talk to me. Even though we are close friends, she doesn't feel like just a friend. Sometimes i'm like no I don't like her that way, but that thought doesn't last very long. Does this mean I actually like someone for the first time? And it's a girl? I know this is only a crush and will probably go away. And about my sexuality, I guess i'm bi or bi-curious. Whatever i'm not labeling myself.

Today at school, I decided to distance myself a bit from Perrie. In class Jesy came and sat next to me which Leigh didn't like because she always sits next to me.

"I finished watching Faking it." She said and I smiled.

"The end is fucked up, Karma and Amy didn't end up together." I said with a sad voice.

"Yeah, but what can we do. Karma is straight."

"Fuck that, they belong together."

"Jade, I want to tell you something." She said with a serious voice.

"Yes?"

"I'm bi-sexual." She said looking away.

"I'm not surprised."

"What how? You knew?"

"I kinda guessed it."

"Then you're a good guesser." She said.

"Does anyone know?"

"Only my 2 best friends and my mom and sister."

"Oh, how did they react?"

"My mom said "it's just a phase, so shut up about it."

"Auwtch, that's not nice of her. Have you ever liked a girl before?"

"Yeah, I was in love with a girl, maybe still am. Can I ask you something?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"Don't get me wrong but could it be that you also like girls? Like no offense or something, it's just a question."

"Uhm, well, why do you think that?"

"I don't know because when we're talking about Faking It you always talk so excitedly about it, so that's why I thought you might also like girls."

"Well, I actually don't know. I think i'm bi-sexual or bi-curious or something, i'm just really confused and I don't know."

"How long have you been thinking that you like girls?"

"I think for 2 years now."

"Well, do you have a crush or something?"

"I think I might have."

"It's Perrie isn't it?"

"How do you know?"

"I see the way you look at her."

"It doesn't matter it's probably just a crush and I don't like her as much anymore as I used to. And she's straight, so no thanks."

"She is indeed boy crazy."

"Does anyone know about this?" She asked.

"No, only you." I answered.

"Wow, I feel flattered."

"Please, don't tell anyone."

"Ofcourse not."

"Do you think about telling your parents?" She asked.

"What? You crazy? They're gonna kill me, i'm not joking. I won't ever tell them, never. They don't have to know."

"Are they homophobic?"

"No, I don't know it's weird. They don't hate it they just think it's not normal and for their own child to like the same gender, yeah i'm dead."

"Well, it's a good thing you also like boys, if you end up with a boy. You don't ever have to tell them."

"Yes, true."

"You should at least tell Leigh Anne."

"I don't know, I might, just not now."

"And also tell Perrie."

"What are you out of your mind? You said it yourself she's boy crazy and it's just a crush it'll go away."

"Well, promise me if it doesn't go away, you'll tell her."

"Why?"

"Because you always have to try, it's better to have no as an answer then to regret that you actually never told her."

"How do you even tell someone something like this?"

"Well, maybe first just tell her you like girls and see her reaction."

"I don't want to ruin our friendship."

"You guys are too close, for your friendship to be ruined. And I don't know Perrie that well but she seems like she'd be cool with it."

"I'll think about it."

"Have you ever had another crush?" She asked.

"No, that's why I feel so weird. I never have liked anyone before, she's the first one and it's a girl, I never thought that I would actually like a girl."

"JADE AND JESY, I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP, THIS IS THE FIFTH TIME I'M ASKING YOU TO SHUT UP." The teacher shouted at us.

"We're sorry." Jesy said and we stopped talking. Perrie turned around from the other side of the class.

"Bad girl." She mouthed and she made me smile. Jesy looked as she winked and I blushed.

"Cute." Jesy whispered.

"Shut up." I said as I continued smiling.

"Jade, you're a good student, but you're getting on my nerves. What's funny?" The teacher asked.

"Nothing, i'm sorry, it won't happen again."

"It better don't."

After class Perrie came to me.

"Woah, you're such a bad girl." She said laughing.

"Oh shut up with your sarcasm."

"Do you know from who I got the sarcasm?" She asked and I just stared at her.

"You, i'm never sarcastic but you are 90% of the time and it's annoying."

"Well, thanks Perrie." I said.

"But I like it, your jokes make me laugh."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you're funny."

"That's actually the nicest thing you can say to me."

"I know, you always die from laughter because of your own jokes."

"Well, c'mon, i'm funny. How can you not laugh?"

"True."
