Chapter 4

A month later

"Jade it's time to go to school!" My mom yelled from downstairs.

"Yes, i'm coming!" I yelled as I went downstairs.

"Where is your brother?" She asked.

"He's coming, I think."

"God, here sit down and eat i'm going to get your brother."

"KARL, C'MON YOU NEED TO LEAVE FOR SCHOOL."

"Yeah, yeah i'm here."

"Jade, look out for your brother."

"Ugh mom, he's only 3 years younger than me."

"Well, you're 16 he's 13, so you're the big sister. And go now before you miss the bus."

Me and my little brother are at the same school now so I have to go with him, but thank God he's in another building so I don't see him at school. I do see him after school but I always take the bus with Leigh and he comes later with his friends. We went to school and I got in class.

"What class do we have now?" I asked Leigh.

"English." Perrie answered instead of Leigh. Leigh and Lauren were walking in front of us and Perrie and I were walking behind them and were talking when I bumped into a guy.

"Oh God i'm sorry." I said.

"No problem." He said as he smiled and walked away. I looked at Perrie and she was dying from laughter.

"What are you laughing at?"

"THAT WAS SO FUNNY, I CAN'T." She shouted as she laughed.

"God Perrie stop laughing." I said as I gave her a little push on the shoulder.

"I'M SORRY IT'S JUST TOO FUNNY DID YOU SEE HIS FACE?"

"Fuck you." I said as we entered class and sat down. Perrie sat in front of me and she was still laughing.

"Guess it's a sign of the universe that you should date him."

"I didn't even see who it was."

"HAHAHA IT'S JUST SO FUNNY." Perrie said and I threw a pen at her jokingly but it actually hit her face.

"OH MY GOD, PERRIE I'M SO SORRY. I DIDN'T MEAN TO HIT YOU. Well I did mean to hit you but not in the face"

"It's okay."

"Does it hurt?"

"A little, but hey it's okay. I know you didn't do it on purpose."

"Oh man i'm so stupid." I said under my breath. That was the last class of the day and Leigh and I walked to get the bus.

"Aren't you coming?" She asked.

"Nah, I have to wait for my brother." I lied, I don't have to wait for my brother he goes with his friends anyways. I just wanted to wait for Perrie so I could take the bus with her. After 10 minutes I saw her coming but I pretended I didn't see her.

"Didn't the bus come?"

"No." I lied.

"I'm sorry again for what I did with the pen."

"It's okay I deserved it, I shouldn't have laughed at you, but c'mon that was so funny. Please can I laugh?"

"Go ahead." I said as my brother walked by and he pushed me.

"Oh go away." I said pushing him back.

"Who was that?" Perrie asked.

"Just my brother."

"How old is he?"

"He's 13."

"So you're a big sister? i'm an only child."

"Lucky you."

"Believe me it's not fun, especially when you have strict parents like me."

"Oh there's the bus." I said as we entered the bus after 15 minutes we got to the bus stop where I have to get off.

"Oh, I have to get off here."

"Can't you get out at the next stop?"

"I can, but I have to walk like 5 minutes."

"Pleasee, get off at the next one."

"Alright."

"Yeeey." The bus drove further but it didn't stop at the next stop.

"HEY, why didn't it stop?"

"Oh my God, you didn't push the stop button?"

"Oh shit, I forgot."

"Oh my God, how could you forget that?" She said laughing.

"I-i don't know MAYBE BECAUSE THIS ISN'T MY USUAL STOP. God what am I going to do now?"

"Just get off the next one."

"What? That's like 20 minutes walking."

"Just come until the stop where I have to get off and there you can take another bus back."

"I have no other choice." I said as the bus drove further and we arrived at Perrie's stop.

"What the hell is this place? Is this where you live? I've never been here before."

"Look there you can take the bus." She said pointing at the stop.

"Are you sure? I don't wanna get lost. Oh no I feel like i'm lost."

"You're not just look over there, the bus is coming."

"I hate you so much." I said as she gave me a smile.

"Look, I have to go. Just go to that stop the bus will come I promise."

"Okay, bye then."

"Bye bye, Jade." She said as she walked away. I went to the stop and the bus did indeed come, I went home and my mom opened the door.

"Where were you? You are 30 minutes late."

"I saw her talking to a girl and it wasn't Leigh Anne." My brother interrupted.

"It was Perrie, she's from my class and  I didn't push the stop button so I had to come back with another bus."

"You're so stupid sometimes, Jade." My mom said.

"Thank you mom, really nice of you." I said sarcastically. I went upstairs to my room and was about to change  when I recieved a text message.

*text messages between Jade and Perrie*

Perrie: Are you home?

Jade: Yess

Perrie: Good, I was worried you would get lost.

Jade: nah, i'm home safe :)

Perrie: i'm glad you are and oh next time don't forget to push the button ;)

Jade: Oh believe me I won't, I don't make mistakes twice.

Perrie: I hope so :)
