Chapter 34

Tomorrow it's back school again. I don't know if I want to go back. I liked vacation and now with all the studying again, I just don't feel like it. Normally I would be excited to see Perrie again, I haven't seen her in like 9 days, but now i'm not that excited actually. We do talk every single day and don't give each other space. Maybe that's the problem? But anyways i'll talk to her tomorrow.

Today I went to school and before I went to class I saw Perrie in the hallway with Lauren. And I touched her head from behind.

"Hiiii." I yelled.

"Hey." She just said looking at me like I did something wrong.

"Euhm okay, that was weird lol." I said looking at Lauren.

"Anyways Lauren how was your vacation?"

"Gooooood, but yeah more would've been better." She said as we all smiled.

"Well, that's really true."

While we were walking to class, Perrie saw one of her friends and basically jumped on her to hug her. So she doesn't see her friend for 2 weeks and she jumps all over her, she doesn't see her girlfriend for a week and I just get a "hey". I don't understand this at all. We entered class and as always I sat next to her.

"Damn, you must have missed your friend." I said.

"Yeah, I haven't seen her in 2 weeks."

"Well, you also haven't seen me, why don't I get a hug?"

"I saw you a week ago."

"9 days to be correct and that's also long."

"Why is this a big deal, Jade?" She asked.

"Because i'm your girlfriend and all you said was hey and just pretend like I didn't say anything."

"Well, maybe cause you fucking hit my head from behind?"

"I didn't hit your head, I just touched it."

"Well, then you touched a little too hard."

"I'm sorry damn. Whatever go hug your friend and ignore your girlfriend do what you want."

"Don't say that so loud."

"I'm practically whispering, should I just shut up then?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"No, I didn't say that."

"Look Perrie, do you think you need some space or something, cause you can get that you know, just tell me what to do, because this relationship is not healty anymore and I wanna fix it, but I only can if you help."

"Yeah, I think I need space but I don't know if it's the right thing to do. You know always when we give each other space we end up ignoring each other and I don't want that."

"It's up to you."

"No nevermind I don't want space it's gonna be worse."

"If you say so."

The next day, Perrie called me

"Jade, can we talk?"

"Yeah, whatsup?"

"Well, I saw Zayn."

"Lol okay so?"

"We talked."

"You have to be kidding me, what did you talk about?" I asked with a confused look.

"He said he wants to be friends."

"And what did you say?"

"Nothing."

"Then why are you telling me this?"

"I want to be friends with him, well at least try."

"Why??"

"Well, he asked to."

"That doesn't answer my question. He's your ex, Perrie. And you really think he wants to be "just friends" with you?"

"Yeah."

"How can you be so naïve?"

"I'm not."

"No you are. Well, do what you want, I don't care. Why would someone want to be friends with her ex who clearly wants you back?"

"Well, okay damn I didn't think this would be such a big deal."

"I need to go, i'll text you after dinner." I said and hung up.

*text messages between Jade and Perrie*

Jade: Look I don't want this, you know how I feel about him, everytime I hear his name I think about how you chose him over me and it makes me sad. I already had issues trusting you and with this no sorry I can't, I can't go back there I don't wanna think about it anymore and if you gonna be friends with him the only thing i'm gonna do is think about how sad I was and also I can't believe you're so naïve? We both know he doesn't want to be just friends with you. And I know that we're a secret and shit and nobody can know about us, but why are you hiding the fact that you are in a relationship?

Perrie: Okay, you're right i'm sorry, if you don't want me to be friends with him then I won't.

Jade: It's your choice.

Perrie: You're right.
