4 years later

It's been 4 years since I finished high school and now i'm in my last year of college. I haven't seen Perrie since then, I did hear from people that she and Luke broke up but that was 3 years ago and ever since then I haven't heard anything from her. In fact I haven't heard anything from none of my friends. I stopped being friends with Dinah and Jesy a long time ago. And I still talk to Leigh sometimes but we did grow apart. The only one who's still in my life is Liam, we're still very good friends.

I live at a small apartment somewhere near London now. I like living here away from family away from all the old friends and just away from all the drama.

One day I was just sitting in my appartment and someone knocked on the door. Who could it be? It's like 10pm. I opened the door slowly to see who it was. I didn't recognize at first but after a second I knew it was Perrie.

"Perrie?" I asked in confusion.

"Hi." She said and now she had short hair. Which does look good on her.

"What are you doing here?"

"Uhm can I come in?" She asked and I hesitated but still opened the door for her so she could come in.

"So?" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"I know it's weird seeing me at your door after 4 years."

"Yeah, it is very weird."

"I just wanted to-" she was saying but she suddenly stopped and almost fell on the floor. But I held her and helped her sit on the couch.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as I grabbed a cup of water from the table and sat next to her as I handed her the cup.

"Yeah, i'm okay. Just got dizzy."

"A lot of things changed in 4 years." She said.

"Yeah, I can imagine. 4 years is a long time. But I still don't know why you're here."

"I realized that I made mistakes in the past. I didn't know I was making mistakes back then but I had 4 years to think about it and finally see that I made mistakes. And now i'm trying to fix them."

"So I was a mistake in your life that you need to fix?" I asked laughing.

"No no, do you just remember how things ended between us?"

"Yeah, I do. I have a good memory. You cheated on me with your ex and then you told me you were straight and not attracted to me and then ypu got into a relationship with that boy and then we stopped talking."

"Yeah, well I realized that what I told you wasn't true. Two years ago I actually fell in love with a girl again and that made me realize I wasn't straight, I always felt atracted to girls as well but I couldn't accept it until like 2 years ago. In fact I even came out to my parents a week ago."

"You did?"

"Yeah and they kicked me out of the house."

"Aw, i'm sorry to hear that."

"It's okay. But yeah I came to tell you this. It was a lie that I was never attracted to you because I was and I was actually madly in love with you."

"It actually feels good to hear this." I admitted.

"Yeah, that's why I wanted to tell you. I know you've probably forgotten about it but I just wanted you to know the truth."

"You could've also text me about it you know. And how the fuck did you find out where I live?" I asked in confusion.

"I did my research." She said smiling.

"Well, that's creepy."

"I should go now." She said standing up.

"Here is my number, just in case you need anything." She said handing me her number and I took it.

"Bye, Jade." She said opening the door and leaving.

What the hell did just happen? That was so weird. Why would she come back after 4 years to tell me that she lied to me when we were teenagers.

10 minutes passes by and someone knocked on the door again. I opened and it was Perrie again.

"Forgot something?" I asked.

"Euhm, no. Like I said my parents have kicked me out of the house and I have nowhere to go. Is there maybe like a hotel near by that I could go to?"

"Uhm no, I don't think so. The closest hotel would be like 30 minutes walking from here."

"Oh, okay. It doesn't matter I'll just find somewhere to sleep." She said and was about to leave.

"Ugh, I hate that i'm going to do this right now but just stay here for the night and you'll figure something out in the morning, it got pretty late."

"Oh no, Jade, you don't have to. I know how much you hate me after everything that happened."

"Just whatever come in, I don't mind for one night."

"Okay, thank you." She said walking jn again.

"Here you can sleep on the couch. My room is right here for if you need anything. Please do not touch anything and also don't make a lot of noise." I said raising my eyebrows.

"I won't, thank you again."

"Yeah, whatever." I said as I got into my room and got in bed.
Did I really just let my ex girlfriend who I haven't seen in 4 years crash on my couch?

Hi guysss, so this story was normally finished but a lot of you did not like the end of it and I agree it was a shitty end so I decided to rewrite the end and give you guys a happy ending but in order to do that I had to jump a bit into the future because I had no idea what else to do. I think i'm going to post a couple of more chapters before officialy ending this story. And hopefully this time y'all are going to like the end!
