Chapter 11

Because of everything that is happening lately, i've been in a bad mood. I'm trying to figure out if I actually like Perrie. But I decided to do what Jesy told me. I'm going to tell Leigh about it, she knows me the best and she could help me with all of this. So when we were in History class I sat next to her.

"Leigh, I need to tell you something."

"What?"

"I don't know how to say this."

"C'mon Jade, you can tell me anything."

"Oh, does Jadey have a secret?" Perrie said as she turned around, she was sitting in front of us with Lauren.

"No no, it's nothing."

"Alright." She said as she turned around but I could see that she was listening to us, so I started whispering.

"I think i'm bi."

"W-what?" Leigh yelled.

"Shhh, don't yell." I whisper yelled.

"You mean bi-sexual? You like girls?"

"I don't know, maybe I do, maybe I don't. Maybe i'm just curious or something, I don't know."

"Well, maybe it's a phase or something."

"Maybe."

"Why do you always keep secrets from me?" Perrie said as she turned around again.

"What do you mean?"

"You know everything about me, I don't know anything about you. You never tell me anything. Don't you trust me?"

"No, I do trust you."

"Oww, shits getting real." Leigh said as Lauren nodded.

"Then why can't I know what you told Leigh?"

"Because, it's not your business, okay?"

"Wauw, I thought we were friends but I guess I was wrong."

"Maybe you were, you can't expect me to tell you everything."

"I don't expect you to tell me everything, I just want you to share things with me. We are so close friends yet I don't know a single thing about you."

"You wouldn't even care." I said shaking my head.

"Why do you think that?"

"Perrie, people can have secrets you know." Lauren said raising her eyebrows.

"Whatever, just do what you want." She said as she turned around again.

After 5 minutes the bell rang and we walked out of class.

"What was that?" Jesy asked me.

"I told Leigh about you know and Perrie heard I was telling her something and then got mad because i'm keeping secrets from her."

"Just tell her, Jade. I'm not saying to tell her you like her, but just tell about that you might like girls. She is your friend and you guys are close. She is really not gonna judge you."

"I'll think about it."

When I got home I started to think about everything. Maybe i'm just confused and I don't like girls or Perrie. Maybe I just need to talk to a guy so I can get my mind off things. I downloaded this dating app and the first one who came up was Liam, and he was also the only normal one. All the others basically only asked for nudes. I also saw that Liam only lives a couple of streets away and he is cute. So I started to talk to him, and he is really nice. And he did help me get things off my mind, well at least for today. Just when I got in bed I recieved a text message from Perrie.

*text messages between Jade and Perrie*

Perrie: Jade i'm sorry I overreacted.

Jade: Nah, i'm sorry. You're right I should be more open to you. You tell me everything and you're a good friend. I'm just scared to be open about things.

Perrie: Why? You know that I won't judge you, whatever it is that you're dealing with.

Perrie: Lately you're also in a bad mood. I can't  talk to you like normally, you seem to attack me.

Jade: I'm sorry, I really don't mean it like that. There's just a lot on my mind right now. And I will try to open up more to you, I just need time.

Perrie: I understand, is the thing you're dealing with right now, the thing you told Leigh?

Jade: Yeah.

Perrie: Alright, you know you can always tell me. I am really curious right now, but just tell me when you're ready.

Jade: I will :)

Perrie: It is almost school break, we're 2 weeks free. What are you going to do?

Jade: I'm actually going to Miami for a week.

Perrie: WHAT? MIAMI? THAT'S SO FUCKING NICE.

Jade: Yeah, my dad always wanted to go and me too, so we decided this year we're going to Miami.

Perrie: Wait, isn't it there like 6 hours earlier?

Jade: Yeah, why?

Perrie: I won't be able to talk to you before I go to sleep :(

Jade: You're so dumb sometimes, I don't even know how you always get the best grades.

Jade: When you go to sleep, i'll probably be at the beach or something. When you wake up i'll be sleeping.

Perrie: But still you're gonna have fun and shit, you'll be too busy for me.

Jade: I promise i'll text you everyday once, to tell you how my day was.

Perrie: You better do. I'll miss you.

Jade: It's just a week.

Perrie: True.

Jade: And break is in a week so enjoy the week you have with me at school.

Perrie: I will.

We were texting until 2 in the night. We were talking about a trip we did with school a couple of weeks ago and a lot of funny things happened. And I told her so many jokes and she actually laughs at all my jokes. Her mom even got mad because she was laughing all the time, well I don't know if it's true but that's what she told me. That was actually the most fun time I had texting her. I was so busy with texting Perrie, I forgot to answer Liam. She makes me smile and laugh. She makes me happy.
