Chapter 10- Nightmares

I stood there under a full moon shining above me. The essence of blood is strong. I wore entirely black and my eyes glowed red. I looked around and Luna was nowhere to be seen. I had my fangs sticking out of my teeth and I tasted human blood in my body. I couldn't resist for more. It all went blurry, the I saw Ginny, Cho, Padma, Luna and my father all dead in front of me, with bite marks in their necks and blood oozed everywhere. Then there was this hypnotic incantation to demolish vampires with a cross, then I fell to the ground and looked up. There was a werewolf howling at the full moon, a black dog and a rat. The werewolf spotted me and growled, running towards me. I ran away as fast as I could and banged my head in a tree, falling to the ground. Dementors surrounded me and they floated away in fear. Then it went black and there was the witch's voice again saying 'be warned of your second year, the werewolf is near' she laughed and appeared out of the darkness, but she wore blood red and spoke 'As well as more darkness, soon my dear you won't resist a taste for human blood and all your loved ones will die because of you' I screamed at her and yelled ' no, no, no, no' and I kept screaming and ran away as fast as I could, but the scene changed and a werewolf appeared and I kept running and soon a whole pack of wolves were chasing me and I tripped over a tree root, looking up at them ready to attack." I breathed heavily and opened my eyes, clutching my necklace in fear. Luna sat on my bed, worried. I hugged her in relief and tears streamed out of my eyes. Padma and Cho walked over and sat down on the end of my bed.
"It's ok, Casey. We're here" Cho spoke. I smiled and hugged her. Padma looked at me.
"We'd better tell someone. I can't listen to any more of that screaming. That is the second time" Padma spoke. Luna nodded.
"And I know who" she spoke.
"Dumbledore?" I spoke. They nodded. I stood up, shaking, but they helped me up and I got changed, heading to Dumbledore's office. I walked down the stairs and bumped into Professor Flitwick. He smiled.
"Oh Merlin, I'm soo sorry professor"
He picked up his book he dropped.
"What brings you in such a rush? Class doesn't start in an hour and breakfast in the dining hall is just starting."
I smiled.
"I've gotta see Professor Dumbledore, it's urgent" I spoke, walking away. He nodded and headed up the stairs.

I paced down the corridor and walked up the small set of stairs and spotted Professor McGonagall in the corridor. She smiled.
"Hello Casey, what brings you here?"
I looked at her.
"My roommates want me to see a teacher because of my nightmares, they say I'm screaming and I wake up crying"
She nodded and walked with me to Professor Dumbledore's office and up the Griffin stairs and knocked on his door. McGonagall tapped me on the shoulder and walked away. The door opened automatically and I stepped in and spotted Dumbledore pacing in front of his desk. He spotted me and smiled.
"Hello Casey, what brings you here?"
I looked a him.
"I've been having nightmares and my roommates tell me I'm screaming and crying and they're really worried about me"
He nodded.
"So what are they about?"
"Well you know my little secret, right?"
He nodded.

He nodded and tapped me on the shoulder.
"I see"
I looked at him.
"Does this mean that it's going to happen?"
He looked at me.
"I wouldn't say, some parts can be visions and some can be warnings. That physic plays an important role tho. But not just you realises darkness is coming back and all you need to do is look at the light."
I nodded. He smiled and tapped me on the shoulder.
"But I bet Professor Trelawney would be interested. She will be your divinitation teacher next year, but I could let you and your sister to have them this year" he spoke. I nodded.
"Thank you"
He smiled.
"My pleasure, you look thirsty. Have a good day, I'll hand your new timetable to Professor Flitwick to hand to you"
I smiled and walked out the door and to my next class.
