I looked in the mirror, looking at my reflection. I looked into my red eyes and tied my hair back, leaving a few strands out as I fastened my old fashioned dress blue blouse and took a steady breath as I turned around to finish packing my suitcase. My bed was empty with all my belongings safely kept in my bag. I packed the last few books in my bag and zipped it tight, eyeing Luna as she walked in.
"I'm going to miss you" she spoke. I smiled, looking as she was wearing a blue long sleeved shirt with white jeans and her hair braided in two. She smiled back and picked up her suitcase.
"You wouldn't miss me" I spoke, looking away. "You'll see me every day you're at the school" I spoke, looking back at her. "I have 100% committed to evil yet" I spoke. She nodded and I grabbed my bag, walking downstairs to say goodbye to father and hugged them both as I disaparated once I walked out the door. The Hogwarts gates creaked open, welcoming me inside as I clutched my suitcase in steady hands, being greeted by Amycus Carrow.
"So you're the one the dark lord has been obsessed with. All so powerful" she sneered. I smiled at her.
"Fear is inside the deepest, darkest part of your sole. It's not what it looks like but what you see under the glamour" I spoke, as she grimaced and walked with me into the hall where the teachers stood.
"... So who's going to replace Sybil now since she's in 'probation' " McGonagall spoke.
"Dumbledore wished to let her replacement be someone who he wished as his will to let her guide students to achieve their best" Snape spoke.
"And here they are now" he spoke turning around to face me. McGonagall eyed me and flinched suddenly, shocked but hid it well under her straight face.
"I would like to introduce your new divination professor, Professor Lovegood" he spoke.Luna's POV
Luna kissed her father goodbye on the cheek and picked up her bag, walking onto the train.
"Oi loony, where's your sister?" A fellow Slytherin cackled as she walked past their compartment. She eyed them and put in a brave face, facing them.
"You will find out soon" she spoke as she eyed Draco and walked away and into the compartment containing her friends.
"Luna" Neville spoke. She smiled.
"Hello Neville, good holidays?" She asked. He nodded.
"I suppose. My plant sadly died" he spoke, trailing away. She eyed him sadly but at the same time was relieved, thinking back or her forth year. He looked up at her.
'What about you? I heard what happened to your sister at the wedding. Is she recovering well? Is she on some trip like the Harry Ron and Hermione" he spoke. She shook her head.
"She recovered fine," she spoke, looking out the window and back at him. "She is in fact a member of the staff this year" she spoke. His eyes widened.
"Really? What subject is she teaching?" He spoke. She smiled.
"Divination of course." She spoke, looking away. "Hogwarts has changed since Dumbledore fell, at least we have some staff that aren't bad" she spoke, looking out the window at the passing fields.Cassentina-Rose's POV
I walked up the stairs to the divination classroom and pulled open the trapdoor, walking up the ladder, clutching my bag. I shut the door as I turned around and walked into the separate room across from the classroom, spotting Sybil Trelawney, sipping tea, shaking in fear. I placed down my bags and tapped her in the shoulder as she flinched, dropping her teacup and looked over. She breathed a sign of relief and I took out my wand, fixing the cup and placing it back on her table.
"Do you wish me to make more?" I asked. She looked at me and nodded as I walked to the little stove and filled a kettle up with water and tea leaves, lighting the stove, placing it on the flames to heat. I let go and flinched as a flash of vision shot through me.A death eater stood on the tracks, stoping the Hogwarts express. He walked onto the with a sly grin as he walked it where Luna, Neville and the others were seated. Neville grimaced as he stood up.
"He's not here!" He exclaimed as the death eater sneered and eyed Luna as he walked out of the train, disaparating. They exchanged looks as the train began to moveI was brought back to reality as the kettle hissed loudly and I let go, wincing at the burn on my hand and picked it up, pouring it into two teacups and placing it back, turning the stove off and picking up the two teacups, walking to a small table where Sybil was seated. I placed the cup in front of her and she stared at it.
"It's not poisoned" I exclaimed as she looked up at me and nodded, picking it up and sipping it gently.
"What did you see?" She spoke. I looked at her.
"Pardon?" I spoke. Sh eyed me.
"Your vision? What did you see?" She spoke. I smiled.
"Oh. Just a death eater stopped the Hogwarts express and was looking for Harry. I think something is going to happen to my sister. Oh! But it's all fine now" I spoke. She nodded and kept sipping her tea as I did the same, feeling the hot texture flow down my throat. She looked at me.
"It's not the same place since Albus' passing" she spoke. I nodded, sipping my tea.
"It will have to do until the war is over" I answer. She flinched at the word 'war' and kept sipping het teacup until she finished and placed it on the desk. I eyed her suitcases packed away and looked back at her.
"You ready to go, I suppose?" I spoke. She eyed her bags and nodded.
"I see no potential if staying here and I've been disconnected from my position for short time until the war is over. I suppose you'll feel the same" she spoke. I glanced at her blankly.
"It is but my war to fight, but I will guide them all until the end, that's what Dumbledore told me before he died" I spoke. She nodded and grabbed her last books off the shelf and nodded gently as she disaparated. I cleaned up the teacups with a wave of my wand and set up my stuff before I headed to the great hall for the annual dinner.—
I was surprising a bit late and quickly walked down the hall, ignoring the frightened whispers of the students, walking up and taking my seat at the teacher's table. Snape eyed me blankly and nodded, acknowledging my presence. He stood up at the stand and the students hushed immediately.
"Welcome students to another year at Hogwarts" he spoke. "I would like to acknowledge three new members of our staff. Your muggle studies professor; Amycus Carrow, her brother in which will teach Defence Against the dark arts and our fellow student, Cassentina-Rose Lovegood who will be taking the position as the Divination teacher. New rules will be regarding in these premises and any rule breakers will be punished accordingly. Thank you" he spoke, turning around and sitting down at the Headmaster's chair. I eyed Luna who looked at me and smiled, among all of the fearful, shocked faces of the others.
"You okay, I heard what happened on the train" I spoke into her mind. She smiled and nodded as I did the same and drank a strong tea out of my goblet. What do you think?? Yes Cassentina can drink liquids, but only liquids, shortening her cravings but she has to live off blood like others. She's a Professor! Did you think of that one coming. I am trying to let her teach here before she goes out and commits 100% to evil and takes her 'throne' as the heir of the Vampires.
