Chapter 31- Introductions

I walked out of the classroom out of a fun lesson. Professor Sprout gave us each a piece of dried Withania and I smelt its horsey-smell and placed it into my pocket. I walked with Luna to the dining hall and sat down at the Ravenclaw table. Looking up, I spotted Professor Dumbledore standing up and walking over to his owl stand.
"Good evening students, as you may know. Tomorrow is October the 31st and the Triwizard Tournament will start. Selected students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons will be arriving. I would like you all to welcome them and use your manners towards them and represent our school. But in the meantime, tuck in!"
I smiled and looked over as food appeared on the table. Luna helped herself to some shepherd's pie and I drank pumpkin juice in a cup. Luna looked at me and tapped my hand, ushering me to eat something. I nodded and grabbed a scoop of mashed potato and pumpkin, eating it slowly. I was really hungry at that moment, but I tried to stop my addictions by stiffing my face with food, but trying to be manner-full in the meantime.

Once the table was cleared, we walked back towards the Ravenclaw common room. I spotted Draco looking at me with confusion and surprise, but once I laid eyes on him, he looked away and walked down the steps with his friends. I sighed and walked up the stairs with Luna and Orla.

I finally reached the common room and tapped the eagle-knocker handle twice and it formed a head.
"Tell me, what is lighter than air, but a thousand men cannot lift it" it spoke. I looked over at Luna and Orla. They shrugged and we waited for the others to arrive up and help us. I spotted Cho Chang and Padma as they reached the top step. Cho looked at me and smiled as we told her the question. She thought for a second and Orla looked at me and clicked her fingers.
"It's a bubble, isn't it?" She spoke. The door nodded and let us in. Walking in with the others, Cho called out my name.
"Casey! Casey!" She spoke as I walked over to her.
"I know it's only your third year and we don't have the Quidditch Cup this year, but do you want to be Keeper of our team. We'd usually elect forth years and over, but I've heard you're a champion."
I looked over at Luna and smiled.
"Yes! I'd love to. And besides..." I glanced at her, smiling. "...I'm in my forth year, I found out the other day I was Luna's elder sister, but born on the same day; one year apart"
She looked at me and smiled.
"Great, see you tomorrow at 6:00am sharp. Don't be late!" She spoke. "And also, I've got a spare nimbus 2001 if you want to use it" she spoke.
"Thank you" I answered and walked up the stairs with her and Luna. We spotted Helena Ravenclaw on the top and she smiled.
"Hello Cassidy" she spoke, looking at me. "... And Cho" she looked over at her.
"Good evening, Helena. Pleasure to see you" I spoke and she drifted away. I smiled and walked into my dorm, grabbing my clothes and toiletries, heading to the showers with Luna. A few other kids were there as well, so we waited until it was out turn and we walked in our separate cubicles, shutting the door behind us. I hanged my bag in a hook behind the door, neatened out my clothes, got undressed and turned on the water and lily-scented scent.

After my shower, I changed into my clothes, grabbing my stuff and waiting for Luna to finish. Not long after I got out, she unlocked the cubicle door and we walked down the girl's corridor and walked into our dorm, packing up our stuff we were holding and tucked in underneath our blankets.
"Goodnight Luna" I spoke.
"Goodnight, Cassentina-Rose. Watch for Nargles."
I giggled. "You too"
She smiled and I closed my eyes, drifting off into a deep sleep.

I was standing next to Draco and a wand was pointed to my left arm. Morsmorde. The owner of the wand spoke and blank ink burst from the tip of the wand, creating the dark Mark. They were recruiting me as one of them. I admired it and sat next to Draco and Bellatrix, proud to be dark. The image changed like looking into a penesive and I stood in a room with Dumbledore, Lupin, and Mr and Mrs Weasley. Dumbledore smiled.
"Cassentina-Rose Lovegood. Welcome to the Order of the Phoenix. You will work undercover, and deliver us any news"
I nodded and the vision blurred, causing me to wake up.

I huffed and puffed, taking my notebook from my bedside table and writing what I just witnessed. I placed the quill down and stared at the ceiling and stood up. It was still dark outside and my roommates, including Luna were asleep, so I grabbed my wand and crept outside and slowly down the stairs into the common room. I took out my wand and spoke lumos causing the wand tip to light up as I looked to the stars on the ceiling and at the bookshelf for an interesting book to read. I grabbed a copy of a muggle book series called the Chronicles of Narnia and read until the sun shone through the window in the morning.
