Chater 64- The power of Human blood

Luna slowly backed away and I ran to my room, locking the door behind me. I opened my closet, looking for something. I came across a box at the bottom and room it out, closing the door behind me an sitting on my bed. I opened it to reveal a black cloak. I placed on a black dress and shoes to wear under and placed on the cloak. I walked over to the mirror and saw my reflection. My glamour was off, so my hair was black, my skin pale, my eyes red and my lips turned a shade of black as well as my nails had black nail polish on them with rings on all my fingers including my rose mood ring which was green. I grabbed my notebook, photo album, diary and important items, shrinking them and placing them into a small, black bag in my dress pocket. I let a tear slide down my face and onto the floor as I wrote a letter to Luna saying that I would go into hiding and I'll meet her back at school. I closed my eyes and disaparated into mist, arriving at Grimeald Place where I closed my eyes and searched for Remus' mind. I found his and spoke into it. Telling him I needed to see him.

Remus POV
I was finishing my drink when I got a mind message from Cassentina. I stood up and turned away, but Sirius stopped me.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked. I spotted Harry and the others looking up. I breathed and looked back at Sirius.
"I'm going with you" Tonks spoke. I nodded.
"It's Casssentina. She is in serious danger" I spoke and they nodded, letting me and Tonks leave the house in which I spotted her sitting on a park bench. Tonks ushered me to go and I nodded, leaving her watch me from the door.

Cassentina POV
I spotted Remus arriving and sitting next to me. Tears fell down my eyes as I clasped them in my hands. I handed him the original letter addressed from Madam Pomfrey and he nodded, looking at me, confused. I took out my wand from behind my ear.
"Revealio" I spoke and instantly the letters changed to the letter from you-know-who. He gasped and burnt the letter, standing up and stepping backwards a metre.
"I realised it after Luna gave me a whole cup of it." I sobbed. "It's horrible. I'm developing too fast. I need to go" I spoke and walked away, seeing the flowers wither beside me in the park. I sighed and disaparated a while later to an abandoned area where I walked over the hill away from people. But the desperation was strong. When I had to feed, human blood was the only that ran through my veins. It made me develop the usual vampire abilities of super speed and stregnth. I'd walk miles without needing a break and I'd write in my diary every day, crossing off the days until it reached the day I'd go back to Hogwarts. I wrote a complicated letter to Dumbledore explaining what happened and I placed it in a foot of a crow, letting it fly away into the distance.

I looked at my reflection in a pool of water and placed a glamour on my eyes and lips, making my eyes turn yellow, lips blood red. My hair was still black and my skin a little less pale but I kept my nails black as well as keeping my mood ring on. I placed my belongings in my suitcase that morning at my house before Luna and father were awake and walked through the barrier, my cloak still on. I sat down at an empty compartment and took off my hood, grabbing out the notebook Draco gave me. I could feel the blood pumping through the other's veins in the compartments nearby, but shuffled in my seat, taking out a quill and writing down a poem on roses. The compartment door opened and I spotted Draco and his friends. He looked at me and smiled as I grimaced, looking back down at my book, writing the rest of my poem. He sat down next to me with his friends opposite us and looked at me.
"Nice new hair colour. You suit it" he spoke. I faked a smile and looked at him.
"Thanks" I spat. He shuffled uncomfortably in his seat.
"Are you okay? Is something bothering you?" He asked nicely. I placed my quill back in my satchel and closed my notebook in fury.
"Thanks to your new visitor. He found out my little secret and used it against me" I spat and walked out of the compartment, down the train.
"It looks like you enjoy my present I gave you" he spoke giving me the charming smile. I laughed.
"Yes, thank you Draco" I spoke and went to get changed into my Ravenclaw uniform just before the train stopped at the station and I placed my cloak into my bag, walking to the carriages where it lead me to the school. I'd fed on a muggle this morning, so I didn't need to go to the hospital wing. I waited until the other students went into the dining hall before I walked in. I looked down at the ground and walked down the corridor in the dark. I spotted Professor Snape walking towards the dining hall and he glanced at me blankly and nodded, walking away. I walked up the Ravenclaw stairs to the astronomy tower and sat on the railing, looking out to the night sky. It was clear as day and I took out my astronomy book and telescope,  looking at the strange constellations, writing my essay until the sun came up the next day. I spotted my crow land on the railing with a letter attached to its leg. I unattached the piece of parchment off its leg and rolled it open.
Dearest Cassentina,
I am deeply sorry about what happened. I can imagine how you feel. I wish for you to join you-know-who's ranks like we spoke of in you-know-what when the year ends. You will get through this and if you need anything, I'll be there to help. Like you, I am currently in hiding as are you, but I wish you to know that there is strength in everything. Madam Pomfrey is devastated and I wish to inform you that you can go out hunting for food instead. Hope you had a good Christmas and inform me on the progress of Hogwarts. I'm glad you wish to be a Divination professor, so I will think about it for the future. Sybil also informed me that your not attending Hogwarts next year. I wish you well and to know that there is light in borne darkness. The blood of the enemy is strong but there is always a weakness.

I closed the letter and burnt it with my wand, making sure no one reads it. Attached to the letter was my timetable and I checked it seeing that I had Potions first with the Slytherins. Fun!
