Chapter 30- Following the blood trail's secrets

My eyes widened as I looked at Draco, pretending I didn't know what it was. We looked down and saw that the drip-drops of blood left a trail, Draco looked curious so he started following it. Trying to hide my fear of what he might see, like a bloodied message, I followed the trail down to the abandoned girl's bathroom that Myrtle lived in. I looked at Draco, confided and walked inside. I walked around the corner and saw a Hufflepuff first year's corpse covered in blood and I knew what this meant. I looked up to the mirror and gasped. Cassentina-Rose. Our new Immortal Dark Queen. I collapsed to my knees and screamed, closing my ears. The pain was intense and Draco looked at me with fear and walked over to me and he walked back away, shaking in fear.
"Someone help! Someone help!" He screamed. Myrtle came from around the corner and clasped her mouth in fear, floating away. Sooner or later, Mad-Eye arrived with Professor Snape and grabbed my hand, pulling me to the hospital wing. Snape ushered Draco to go back to the dining hall and ordered him to not tell anyone of what he just witnessed. He nodded and ran to the hall out of sight. I unclasped my hands from my ears and followed them down the corridor. Luna spotted me and screamed in fear and grabbed my hand, walking with Mad-Eye, Snape and I to the hospital wing. Mad-Eye dismissed himself and walked away as he had the 4th years. I walked up the stairs and sat down on a bed in the hospital wing. Luna sat beside me and rubbed my shoulder as tears fell out if my eyes, my face clutched in my hands and being covered in blood. There were several scratches and grazes on my hands, but they healed up quickly, leaving me with a blood stain. Pomfrey grabbed a wet washer and handed it to me to wash the blood off my hands, hair and robes. Snape glanced at me and saw that what was once scratches and grazes, was all healed. He knew that I was more than a witch, so he walked away as did Luna, leaving me alone in the hospital wing, tear-soaked and shaking. Madam Pomfrey grabbed my face washer and placed it in the sink, filling a cup for me. She walked over and sat down next to me, handing me the cup. I clasped it and drank it slowly, tasting the unique contents it has inside. I drank it all and clasped the cup in my hands, shaking. Madam Pomfery looked at me and shook her head.
"What happened to you?" She asked. I looked up at her and wiped my tears of my eyes.
"My father lied! I'm 15 next year" I spoke and she looked at me, shocked.
"That's horrible! So your suppose to be in your 4th year?" I nodded.
"And even worse, my birthday is in February"
"That's horrible. So this you last time being alive and growing up?"
I nodded and stood up, placing the cup at the sink and looked over at Poppy.
"I'm going to head to class" I spoke and waved goodbye to her, walking out the door.

I paced down the corridor and walked up the stairs until I reached the astronomy tower. I saw that there were only 10 people including me in the class, so I took out my book and walked over to Professor Sinista and she looked my way and smiled.
"Welcome, miss Cassentina-Rose Lovegood" she spoke and ushered me next to a Hufflepuff girl named Darcy, which I recognised from one of my other classes. She smiled and we looked at Professor Sinista, showing us the properties of Saturn and Mercury. She spoke of Saturn as being a person and people with dark hair and eyes from their parents. She looked at me and smiled.
"Cassentina-Rose, you are a very unique person. You are born under Pluto. The dwarf planet which represents your musty blue eyes and long curly hair that goes down to your waist. I suspect your ancestors are Irish and your plannet represents crossroads. Why is that?" She asked. I smiled and took out my book.
"Pluto means crossroads as it is the end of our galaxy an the beginning of another one." I spoke. She nodded.
"10 points to Ravenclaw" she spoke and went back to looking at her microscope.

Soon enough, we grabbed out our microscopes and looked at all the different planets. I felt adrenaline rush through my veins as I spotted a plannet. It was my first time looking through one and at planets that weren't out of a book. The pictures were right! I thought. They really looked like the pictures. It's amazing to see what they really looked like! My eyes widened as Professor Sinista told us the coordinates to search. I saw the moon, a nebula, Saturn, Mars, star clusters and what muggle's call a satellite station. But sadly the lesson ended and I headed to herbology, where I spotted Luna. She smiled as I walked over in front of a table. Professor Sprout stood there and smiled as I looked over and spotted Ginny. She looked over and smiled at me, turning back to her friends. Professor Sprout handed us all a pot full of Withania. I recognised it from reading my book; 100 Herbs and Fungi. It was also known as Ashwagandha and it is calming, restorative, building and reduces stress. I admired its red fruit and leaves as professor Sprout told us to take out out gloves and pick the berries and stems, flattening them and placing them in the sun on a drying rack for use. I picked off the leaves and little berries, placing them in a tray and walking over to the spot the sun and placing it down. I felt the sun's rays on me and I closed my eyes. I could get use to it. I never want to hide in the shadows.
