A couple of months later (August 25th)

Cassentina opened her eyes as the sun's rays shone through the window, almost blinding her. Adjusting to the light, she sat up, getting a fright from Luna standing there. She smiled and hugged her.
"You took your time" she started. "We're going to Diagon Alley today"
she smiled and sat up, yawning.
"I think my head is full of wrackspirts today, my brain feels fuzzy"
Luna smiled and ripped off the covers. She groaned and stood up, walking over to the closet, taking out a dark green, button- up, long sleeved dress and placed it on. She studied her reflection, accessorising herself with green leaf earnings to match and grabbed a pair of green sneakers. As she tied up the laces and brushed her long hair, she struggled to tie it and decided to leave it down.

Following Luna downstairs, breakfast of scrambled eggs with peach dressing awaited her. It was delicious! After she accumulated herself to some rabbit blood, washing up, she stepped into the fireplace.
"DIAGON ALLEY" she spoke clearly as dropped the floo powder on her head where she was whisked away in a puff of green smoke.

Stepping out of the fireplace at Diagon Alley, she turned around and waited for Luna and father to arrive. A few seconds later, they both arrived and they walked out the door, astonished of the amount of stalls yet to discover. Luna tapped her on the shoulder, excited. A smile crept to her face. She followed them to buy some Hogwarts robes.

They bought two pairs each, just in case, with a witches hat and headed to the bookshop to get their books. Greeted by a bell as we opened the door, Luna took out her list and grabbed the books off the shelves, placing them into her cauldron and Cassentina's, until they were full and walked over to father at the desk to pay. She eyed him handing the witch at the desk a box of the new edition of The Quibbler and greeted them with a smile as he fiddled into his bag and paid for the books. He smiled at their quickness and paid at the counter with ease as we walked out of the shop and began to follow down our list.

"All we need is a wand for Cassentina" Luna spoke. She nodded and pointed at the sign which read Ollivander's ad headed inside. The doorbell dinged as they opened the door and was greeted by Ollivander who gave them a warm smile. He turned to face Luna, where mother's wand stuck out of her coat and faced Cassentina with a smile.

"Only one today I presume?" he spoke as they nodded. He turned around him, fiddling with a few cases and returning with a box.

"Oak. Dragon heartstring. Slightly pliable" he spoke, handing it to her. Picking it up, she put it down as the wand flung across the room at an exponential rate, bumping into a vase before it fell on the ground.

"Sorry" she muttered as he rushed over, picking it up. He placed it back in the case and smiled.

"No matter dearie. This one just isn't for you" he spoke, turning around and looking at another. He returned with a black box and opened it to reveal a wand, with the aroma of roses coming out of it.

"What type is it?" she asked, picking it up in her hand, its cool texture and string smell engulfing her.
He smiled. "A 7 3/4 inch wand with rose petal and hippogriff hair"
She smiled and waved it around, a blue light appeared and wind blew through her hair.
"It's perfect" She spoke, handing it back to him and paying for it with a couple coins ans heading out the door. She could hear him muttering something faintly as she closed the door but ignored it and headed back towards the floo network.

Once Luna and father, powder in hand erupted into green flames, Cassentina stepped into the fireplace, but was stopped as a witch who wore entirely black pulled her back. She looked at her with fear.
"Be warned of your 2nd year, a werewolf is near" she spoke. Cassentina shuddered and dropped the floo powder onto my head.
"44 OTTERY STREET CATCHPOLE DEVON" she spoke and I walked out of the fireplace at home. She eyed Luna and father, who handed her a cup. She thanked them and drank quietly before placinf it back in the sink.

"Thank you" She spoke They nodded. "Dad" she spoke, a thought coming to her min. He immediately walked over, worried.
"How will I have to drink at Hogwarts? Does Dumbledore have to know?"
He looked at her.
"I'm not sure, but I'll send him a letter anyway" he answered, walking away and began scratching on a piece of paper and handing it to the owl as it flew out of the window.

Cassentina perched herself on her chair and picked up a book called Hogwarts: A History and started reading. For hours she read under a small light on her chair until she eyed the sun perching over the trees and an owl flying towards them in the distance.

She closed her book and watched as the bird flew at a shocking fast rate to the place she was sitting and fell to the floor with a thud. She rolled her eyed and helped the bird up, pulling off the letter gently. The bird squawked and bit her hand as it flew to its usual spot in the corner of the room where a plate of food sat. It began eating. She hissed at it.

"You're welcome. Thanks you demon for the bite. Much appreciated" she muttered and unrolled the letter.

"What was that!" a voice exclaimed as Luna walked down the stairs, eyeing the bird eating away.

"He bit me!" she exclaimed as she showed her the cut, but it was gone. She rolled her eyes.

"The bird has done nothing wrong. Relax Cass. You should treat that bird with respect"

Cassentina sighed and glared at the bird. Luna pulled the letter out of her hand, eyeing the Hogwarts crest on the seal. She frowned at the address to Cassentina and handed it to her.

"It's from Dumbledore, father sent him a letter explaining my..... 'Condition'..." she spoke as she nodded.

"Let's hope he lets you still attend"
"Me too" she answered as she ripped open the seal.

Dearest Casey Lovegood,
Your father told me all about your condition and no need to worry, I've set up the school nurse named Madam Pomfrey to get you something to drink, I'll definitely not make it human blood tho. Your father Xenophilius also told me that you have a lapis Lazuli necklace to protect you from the sun. I'll alert the teachers to have permission to leave it on. There isn't much I could do for your desperation for Human blood, all I can say is stay strong! You've reached this far already! You will not be evil. I see light in you, Casey.
Pleasure to write to you! Love to see you when you attend Hogwarts this year!
Kind regards,
Albus Dumbledore.
